What's actually wrong with it? i just stuck mine back down with Gorilla Glue ( has real gorillas in so super strong ) and 2 months down the line still perfect.
The Fiesta has an epic interior, much better than the standard 3 switched and 2 dials crap that everything else has, think people just resent having agg with changing the stereo tbf.
tbf no history noted, it's probably just had a set of 10K clocks put on it, shame you can't check MOT history without log book number.
Either that or had some horrible problem and was left sitting around for years and years, drink driver banned / put in the nick or something.
Hi All,
Had this for over a week now and put off trying to post it,
Opinions please, Normally this relates to the Brake swithc or something which I believe not to be the case as never had it prior to fitting a new Zorst,
Does anyone think this could be coming on once the engine is running up...
Oh right, the issue is the first thing that Fastship say, always disconnect before removal and make sure it is, you've left the communication open, ECU could actually be damaged ( the guide here also says this ) my advice would be to contact Henk to ask him, it's his device and software so only...
Basically it makes cold running much much much better, slightly more torque down low, mpg up by 1-2. but overall the car just ruins noticeably better.
5k " kick" is still present but not as sharp if you'd consider it that.
True, but imho it is a lot of hassle, plus if i'm right in my assumption leaves the cat joins which aren't normally exposed to the outside open to corrosion making it a bit*h to get back on, just for a bit of engine destroying noise.
and It will no doubt require a new cat/mani fitting kit after...
Will kill the engine and it will fail the MOT as you need to decat the car in the first place, all the popping and banging will kill the cat.
Plus as others have said some engines are starting to die from having this in place, just have the 98RON Std map, all the same bar overrun and this one is...
You would need your original map back up, if you don't have this then you cannot put it back to original.
Wouldn't worry about insurance pretty hard to tell it's there without the software and then it's all just calibration code.
Hardly, you'll have to throw in a waterpump around £70 whilst you're at it too, save that going and doing the aux belt over again.
all or nothing imo.
Pulleys could be whacking of their stops, I recall reading something on here a while back but not sure when the issue was. you got anyone nearby to check it out at all? might be best to just pay someone qualified to check it. noises you can chase forever.
put it this way, if it's something like a bit of death rattle it'll cost all the same to fix, another engine.
just pay attention to warning lights ( stop means STOP ) not drive for 1hr and then check.
Doesn't sound too bad to be honest, but videos are deceiving, any lack of power, oil...
If you've got death rattle you'd know about it, generally implies low oil pressure so worn engine bearings. Dephaser will make it sound like a non ecu'd diesel like an old land rover.
Can you upload a vid at all. Tbh it isn't the nicest sounding engine and makes all sort of crap noises at...
Not sure of this is of any use to people.
Scorpion exhausts. Apparantly they never fit properly.
Mine didn't. But I got some genuine exhaust mounts yesterday for near £50 a pair and they are actually different to gippo ones on ebay. They may look the same but the bolt holes on genuine...
I'll mail him, I need some actually, don't have the cover on was waiting to paint it and find some, threw old ones away as one of them was an actual std bolt.
as Much as I'd gladly ditch my Arctic for an LY, this just isn't going to be good, not to mention in's on the other side on the country for me.
I'd happily pay for 5k for a mint LY but it would have to be MINT to take the plunge and not have the belts hanging off it.
