Worth noting that for the last 18 months they have done a £100 off deal, so they are probably one of the cheapest remaps about, so while they may not be the company they used to, they are cheap!
I've used them on 5 of my cars, and always had a great experience. They used to get a model in, do all the development on their rolling road then offer the map out, tried and tested. I've had a few cars custom mapped before on a rolling road and never been happy with the end result (apart from...
I just keep getting deeper and deeper on this thing!! - When I done the rear brakes I found that the rear brake pipes on the beam had been cut and joined at some point, assume due to an MOT failure which is odd as the rest of the pipes are like new! - Luckily they are still available from...
I found to be fair they sometimes come up on ebay for about £40 delivered each, find a good condition one, buy it, then sell your damaged one for £40 delivered and it ends up costing you about £15-£20 to swap to a good condition wheel, i done that on my 1.2 runabout and now have a full set of...
Good work on the paint on the bonnet! - Always liked that colour on a mk2.
Not a fan of the headlights, i think if you just restored the lights so they were back to being nice and clear that would look good, smaller front plate too always tidys them up, this was only slightly smaller, pretty...
Mine has a faulty rear sensor and does this. When you look at the live data, rear left is a couple mph lower than the rest, above 5-10mph this doesn't matter as it's within tolerance, but under 5mph it can be 50% lower so triggers it
not always i had a look at a machine for someone that was having stuttering frame rate issues in GTA5, couldn't for the life of me get to the bottom of it and discovered it was unstable voltage causing it to have issues under load, but not enough to cause the machine to crash or restart.
while it's not impossible, the chances of a graphics card arriving, working, just with restricted performance is fairly unlikely. I don't follow AMD these days so can't comment on the CPU performance etc, so assuming that's ruled out as not the cause, for me it's most likely either a...
Given the mention of mechanical drives with games on it, id just get the M.2, fresh install of windows on it, BIOS update, latest nvidia and motherboard chipset drivers!
Id also give him google and tell him to go research it and fix it himself, benefit him in the long run! - Used to spend hours...
remove the engine bay fuse box cover, remove the fuse board inside (clips on at the side) and underneath you will see a white multi plug. Disconnect the plug and check the connections for corrosion, get yourself some contact cleaner etc and clean them up, probably related to that!
When I was 17, 16 years ago!, I pulled the pass side shaft out not realising the box oil would empty on the floor, there is no sign on the garage floor that it ever happened, but when I lie on the floor under the car at that same area I still smell it!
