I wouldn't use Eibachs on standard dampers on a non RS if you want handling, they are horribly miss matched ive tried them on a DCi100 and 1.6 16v and they were terrible.
later stuck koni dampers on it and it was much better!
to use RS dampers you need the hubs which means you need the brakes...
Coilovers are definitely worth it even on a 1.2 if you have good ones, well setup and at a sensible height.
however I would forget bilstein and kw and spend half as much on AP coilovers, I had them on my twingo GT and they were fantastic! Better than my previous set of FK Koni damper ones which...
pointless on a diesel as they don't have a throttle butterfly like a petrol so have no need to blow off boost, you can get ones that are electrically actuated but you would be just as well using a cd with dump calve noises and playing that with the volume up
i noticed ktec list they do it for £5000+ anyone else doing them? I couldn't find much details.
my gearbox has gone and im looking at possibly going down this route.
love it!! I was looking at these on ebay the other day, my mate had a 2.0 Turbo one about 10 years ago, we ramped the boost up on and stripped it out, this is the only video ive got of it, taken on a nokia 3310 by the looks of it lol!!...
I got speaking to the store manager and said I bought tools there all the time a trade card would be handy and he signed me up for one, I work in a supermarket lol! possibly it was just a system issue but it definitely gave me trade discount on a promotion offer
the trade card never used to work on offers so it was worth trying it with and without the card if you get a friendly operator to find out which price works out the cheapest.
however its apparently changed and you now get trade discount on offer prices, I bought one of they socket sets a few...
I cant see past Halfords, cheap as chips with a trade card too
they are doing a bank holiday deal on their big set the now

my mapped dci 100 done this in 5th when flat out too, the fuel pump was just at its limit, on a standard one it would probably be a sign of the pump being past its best, as said above id change it before it goes and gets ££££
minted m1144 and brembo discs fitted to 197
gave the dci80 it's 160k service, new alternator, new battery and aux belt kit
washed all 4 cars
updated the software on the medianav on the mk4
fitted the trophy's new rear dampers!
kit includes a link pipe to use your own exhaust of your choice, it uses the standard management and standard fuel pump, a guy mentioned what injectors it was he was running when I looked into it, I want to say laguna F4RT but I cant remember, either way injectors aren't expensive so all you...
if you want the flat spot minimised then only get someone who knows what they are doing to map it such as henk @ Fastchip, Paul @ RSTuning, and a few of the other guys from here with good reputation.
Billy big boost may claim he will do you a special offer of £159 for a remap that he will gain...
previously not had any issues, car sat for a few mo the and alternator seized solid, replaced with brand new alternator and aux belt kit. Jump started and car was running sweet as a nut. Drove it for an hour with no issues, stopped at petrol station, flat as a pancake.
so the alternator is...
not looked into a rebuild tbh, if im going to the expense of changing the box id like the shorter 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears from the 200 and It doesn't tear through the first couple of gears quite as quick as my 200 did, you can feel the weight!
I would probably disagree, they claim 170-180bhp with probably similar torque, which would go really well!
172 widetrack and brakes wouldn't cost much and is all you would need! - If I can find a 1.6 16v for around £500 ill do it! something a bit different
found a guy that has it fitted, goes well
