pug 406 coupe, fiat coupe turbo, mk1 frs been so bolt straight onto a non rs mk2, bolt spacing is the same, from memory you need a couple of washers as spacers and there is a Citroen disc that fits! Someone on here done it I believe to a 1.6 16v all the details were in the post! I want to say...
gearbox has developed a 4th gear syncro issue, I noticed it from very early on but thought it may just be the linkage being a bit sticky, but now its crunching. not sure what option to do...
1. exhaust off and trade in
2. brand new box and keep
3. brand new box and sell for good cash
4. set on...
be giving that a miss then haha, just going to get a 2nd hand 200 one and have it rebuilt then fitted, may as well get the shorter ratios to soften the blow!
cant be that naff if its powering the new FRS lol!
looks the part, it would be perfection if it had the 2.5 5cyl but I don't suppose it would be very fuel efficient lol!
i get the cheap brembo pads from euro for our driving school cars too, genuine brembo in brembo box. were more than £16 right enough! £30 I think I paid last time I got a set!
when you say you had 2 front pads done I assume you mean 2 pads on each side lol!

came across this earlier, don't recall anyone mentioning it. Looks quite interesting when you can pick up a reasonable nick 1.6 16v for £500!
ive been using the cheap ebay seller for a while but I cant find double sided sticky pads that are strong enough to keep them on for long enough. The fancy plates ones are like nails when on lol!! so ive been back to fancy plates!
i paid around £400-£500 from memory that was them fitting the injectors and mapping, its worth every penny, transformed it your talking 30-40% extra power! that was at RS Tuning
Car had its 72k Service a few weeks ago, they couldn't do the alignment on it as it has play in one track rod end and the other side track rod, was going to get them to just order up both rods and both rod ends and get it back in but decided to hold off for a month or 2 and just go for a 200 Cup...
I fitted Clio 172/182 injectors and had it remapped by RS tuning. Massive gains to be had, engine retains it's revvy nature but gains loads of low down grunt and genuine top end power, I love the engines it's a Shame they are shocking on fuel lol.
standard injectors are on the limit so people...
you can run an aux cable from the standard units cd changer port they are a couple quid on eBay, still doesn't fix the s**t sound quality of the standard unit lol
shame no cup pack, although it is a little harsh for normal driving!, as said above black speedlines, clean number plates and clio badge removed would finish that off lovely!
its a tough call, the 197 is my daily driver and its a hoot, although running costs have been eye watering!, I had a 200 from new so knew the fuel consumption was a bit worse than 172/182, but turns out 72,000 miles later they are bloddy expensive to maintain, ive had it about 6 months now and...
its actually not bad the boy across the road is into Mini's and has a JCW, a convertible Cooper S and a few others. The boy next door is into Lotus Cortinas and has a load of mk1 Escorts and his sun a Honda nut, the boy at the end of the street has a few old clapped out V8 AMG mercs and theres a...
