Launched it in the bath, got a load of greasy dirt out but no grit/sand so I think it's pretty clean tbf. My friends must have had a shitload of sand somewhere as this is his injector hole after
Yeah the inlet was stinking (30 years worth of greasy dirt)
Do you think it's worth spraying some light oil inside so just incase there is any more grit left in there it might catch some of it?
Bit annoying really as the people who did the work didn't even mention needing to clean it out. Just...
So iv had my inlet aquablasted on my 16v, all looks clean but a friend of mine recently had the same work done and a load of grit got into his engine as there must have been some left in the inlet
This has concerned me a bit as I can't see any obvious grit in mine and have run a hose through...
I just took a look on dialogys, doesn't seem to be any upper spring rubber seat, but the lower one should be part number 7700419475
Top metal caps are purchased separately to the strut top set also. They are listed on kamracing from what i recall

It's Metallic 676 mate so standard colour 🙂
'96 must be one of the...
Got some progress going on with this now, had to wait for powdercoated and vapour blasted bits to be done so can start some reassembly
purchased a load of new parts for the refresh also
This is on my mk1 clio rather than a mk2 but there seems to be alot of helpful people in here
Basically iv managed to cross thread one of the hoses to the rack and isn't holding a seal. What are my options here, anyone have any experience with these sorts of repairs?
I have ordered a tap to...
So I kinda forgot about this thread really and haven't really done an awful lot with the car other than use it for the odd meet etc
Iv never really payed any attention to the engine bay of the car as it just worked when I got It but its now time for me to get it looking as close to how it did...
Think these ones are more like £600 now. I sold mine which funded 182 manifold/decat and a new exhaust with change left over 😆
Best off posting on Facebook pages, few buyers on there organise a courier to collect
I tried looking for a column on ebay to point it out but can't find anything.
Best page on Facebook is this one mate, full of advice and parts people too
This is what I thought it was. But it's allowing me to switch each individual sensor off yet the codes still appear when I clear and refresh the codes
Retested in on my own car and the light/codes go out no problem
I'm not sure what the issue is
