You do do know that thorney is sponsored by Tesco momentum 99 dont you?
It's also worth noting that thorney were quite open to discuss that results of their dyno testing. That is until Tesco's lawyers told them to pipe down or face a law suit.
I wouldn't believe the results of that test of I...
My 182 ecu detected the missing sensor when the second lambda sensor was no longer there. Therefore tripping out and causing the EML to come on. However, unfortunately for me this also caused the car to go into limp mode. It ran like a bag of crap. So I reset the ecu with a diagnostics machine...
the de cat makes the light come back on on my 182 after about 150 miles. the lambda bung and plug used made the EML come on faster after about 15 miles. hence why i did what i did.
My* brakes* good*
Mintex 1144's are pap. Mine give brake fade under normal driving. For road go for brembo OE pads. A very good pad for day today use IMO.
The kam racing lambda bung caused running issues on my 182. Just run the car with the lambda in, the EML will come on but won't cause any harm. If you get the car mapped a good mapper will map out the light coming on.
The backs on my 182 are brembo disks and brembo pads. Cost £100 for the pair brand new from g172.
The fronts I have just replaced. I can't remember how much the mintex pads were but tue brembo front disks were £40 iirc from kam racing delivered.
I hope this helps
Bought*
And I would of checked to see if it had been done before I bought it also. It should have a stamp in the service book or an invoice for all the work doing by a reputable company or both.
I have Just fitted brembo discs Front and rear, mintex pads on the front and brembo pads on the rear. I also rsn mintex on the front before, however the mintex suffer from brake fade severly. They are actually worse then the OE brakes on my transit van!
