Mine had some abuse on my VTS but they took everything I through at them which was a hell of Alot and they never let me down.
I would recommend them tbh.
interesting jamie. someone else i spoke to said the same as you. i had them on my VTS and i thought they were a good tyre. not exactly an r888 but the yokos offered quite alot of grip IMO.

v power is 99 RON, the car has always had v power and been spot on. just recently i thought i would give tesco 99 a try. the car didnt feel as good and my MPG dropped to about 25 average, which is shocking. so back in with a tank of v power and a few miles later the car is back averaging 33 MPG...
