IIRC thats how they are supposed to sit. i had this, the best thing to do is buy the scorpion de cat to go with the system. this pushes it back out by about 10mm because the de cat is slightly longer than the OE cat.
FFS, read the posts properly. superchips is a brand, like any other brand. they install generic maps for most road going vehicles. there are also companies out there that do live mapping like RS Tuning, Chip wizards etc etc. if your car was made before 2001 you can re map the cars through the...
i see your point, you want to do a diagnostics check before you map a car. everywhere does this before mapping anyway. my GT TDI MK4 had a bag of crap £199 off the shelf generic map installed onto the eprom chip and had it soldered back into the ecu. even this had a diagnostics check done before...
ive had 2 generic maps on my cars and a few live maps in the past. id never let superchips near a naturally aspirated car, but they do very good generic maps for the turbo cars. these are the people that spend alot of money on R and D and for a standard turbo car they are very good.
NEVER...
im not a fan of superchips but there generic maps for the turbo cars are very good for near standard or standard car.
FYI a superchips generic map will be flashed onto the ecu, the days of "chipping" are long gone. soldering eprom chips into the ecu is old school
I made a mistake with the price, it's £45 for 2 runs not £40. Sorry.
For the date I was thinking the beginning of November. Give people plenty of notice.
there is date yet greg, because of this reason and people may need to book it off work etc.
my idea was to see how many are interested, if we get enough people then i can set a date about a month after to give people chance to get cash together. time off etc
Good day,
i have finally been in touch with Will again at RTD performance about sorting out a rolling road day. now RTD is similar to chipwizards, they dont advertise anywhere and just get work via word or mouth. Will at RTD is a very good engine builder and specialises in VTEC turbo...
IMO I don't think that the latest RS will be as popular. I honestly think sales will plummet if they go ahead with the more door plan.we were looking at buying a new twingo 133 and that idea has now gone out of the window because of the gash new front end.
If the new RS Clio is a more door...
i dont understand what renault are think atm.
they have ruined the twingo and now a more door RS Clio?
are they trying to lose sales or what?
wake up renault and get your act together
+1
a few years ago i had a VTS track car as a work van. stupidest idea i have ever had tbh. i can see why people hate driving stripped cars as dailies, i wouldnt do it again.
thats why i shall not be stripping the 182 even though its only a toy. i dont think 1*2's are worth much anymore, they...
I bought my 182 in April, it was abit if a shed tbh. It is a little project of mine that I'm determined to make mint. ££££ later and it's getting there now. I have fixed 90% of things that were wrong with it, I have the front wheel bearings to change and the suspension and possibly a wheel...

you need to learn the difference between forced induction and ram air induction.
btw you failed at ram air induction, sucking warm air from the rad. fail.....................
Seen s few of those before, still lol everytime!
I remember when well lane turbo centre in batley put a cossie throughout the back wall of their workshop. That was because it wasn't strapped down properly.

It's off my iPhone but that's the one I bought and used. To secure the hose buy 2 40mm to 60mm jubilee clips.
It does the job
