Easier to use old wiring loom. Better to feed new wires through to door.
However the rubber boot thing has a plastic pin connector, so complicated to get new wires through.
Is it worth me getting an orange Hex-Logic pad?
I was using my DA on a BMW the other day, and using the green pad and Mezerna 106FA didn't seem to touch the swirls at all?
If I want to remove swirls, will I need this for most cars, or is it a case of using a more abrasive polish with the green...
The Sony headunit will be outputting 4 x 45W Max (peak) so only 13~19W RMS
So obviously those speakers will be underpowered. However pretty much any aftermarket speaker will be underpowered running from a headunit.
However they'll still work fine, and sound better than the originals no problem...
Anywhere you want. Slap a bit of velcro on the back of them and stick them up behind the dash somewhere, or under the seats.
It's all a bit complicated if you don't know what you're doing.
You're not too far from me..
Don't have to. Can be done without , but the tweeters themselves don't always like up with the holes in the dash, so can be a bit of a fiddle.
Just untwist the tweeter cover and have a look/go.
The crossovers filter the sound frequencies. So they make sure only the higher frequency sound goes to the tweeters, and the mid/low goes to the woofers in the doors.
The OEM tweeters have an inline resistor built into the bottom to do this iirc, so therefore if you remove them and don't fit...
Or a scrapyard ^ . Not that they'll be open on sunday I doubt.
Unless you just did it to your existing ones then picked up a replacement standard set later (providing you don't fubar your originals up when grinding them!)
I'm guessing you've got the bolt to hub spacers? Common problem I think.
I'd just measure how long you existing bolts are and how much thread is too long, and minus them.
Thinking about it the thread length you need can't be longer than 15mm, coz that's the width of the spacers?
Essentially the collar bit the spring actually sits on needs to be wound downwards.
So as said you'll end up with more thread visible above the collar than below.
I can only echo what Cupman29 has said.
I'd reccommend getting them from G 172 on here. He can do OEM spec Brembo discs and pads for best price.
Failing that Ebay is cheapest for Renault Genuine ones.
Do you mean Vibe Black Air?
I think the Vibe Black Air tweeters might fit in the existing holes. Not 100% though.
In the dash the tweeter you can see is actually just a cover, you twist and pull that off, and the tweeter itself is actually clipped in beneath it.
What are you going to be doing...
