I must say I always liked how the stripes looked from a diagonal view, but from the front i was never too fussed.

We pulled em off, then used some tar/glue remover to get tid of the filth underneath. A quick run over with the buffer was needed to even up the paintwork but it looks perfect now.

I hear that! Roll on payday.

There will be no sort of deckage, a little lowering there shall be. Comfort FTW!

Haha, it all adds to the excitement I suppose!

Was thinking I would do the boot stripes first, although the bonnet and roof would get more sun I suppose, which would mean those areas would have faded more.

Has anyone actually done this? If so, what was the paint like underneath? My cup is Dec 04 with 25k on the clock, im planning to remove my stripes this afternoon but bricking myself in case there are marks which wont buss out!
