There is no point in a silenced decat. If you fit a decat to a standard system it will be 84dB so not exactly loud but it will give it a deeper sound.

If it's completely standard leave them. I don't get why people do these little things to a standard car, it just doesn't work. These sort of mods are to add a finishing touch or to fit in with a colour scheme, nothing else imo.

There must be a difference in relays between the 172 and the 182. I'm sure they still work the same though. Replace them with brand new ones, Renault only. Before you say it mine looked perfectly fine too so just becuase it looks well doesn't mean it works.

Just replace the dephaser and re-tension the belt ffs. It's a matter of opinion that you should never re-tension one.
