The above picture is a standard 182 manifold.
The adaptor fits the centre section to cat not the manifold.
You can see were the manifold gasket is leaking carbon so I would fit a new cat to manifold gasket kit while your there.
The cat can be checked visually buy removing it and looking through it when holding it up to the sky.
You will no if its blocked because there will be odd dark patches.
shell 5w40 is not Mineral oil, I cant find a 5w40 oil that is not called synthetic.
Any 5w40 oil is correct, I would change the oil filter for a genuine one for peace of mind,then take it for a Italian tune up.

I had one it was too loud, made peoples heads turn just driving slowly to work. Also it stank like a morris minor when the windows were down or the air vents blowing, because you cant use a cat.
bought a RS192 and don't feel like a helmet anymore.
Well if the damage is re sprayed in the same colour it left the factory i can guarantee it would not match 10+year old paint, second hand parts will be better.
I have the rs192 with the cat in and centre silencer its not oe quiet but its ok.
The Ktec centre line sport is the only other exhaust I would consider due to tail pipe size, anything over 3" is TACKY.
I would of bought the centre line if it had of been made at the time also benefits from rear...
They are the cup ones you can tell buy the angle of the outer ball joint holes + the part numbers.
Be interesting to know how they compare to standard.

You can buy a new pair of genuine Renault cup wishbones on eBay for £100 delivered or powerflex black for 55p more would be nice to know if there worth it.
