45-50mm is defo not to low on 17´s. Sound like your coilovers is a bit "soft" Do the car body roll a lot when cornering? What are they. Should be rock solid when cornering, bet it´s your ET thats wrong.
Well the look of the spring setting don´t look to low at all, how much have you lowerd it ? I´m aprox. -65mm on 205/40-17 and only slight rub on full lock my rims are 7X17 ET 38. If you coilovers have no camber adjust it could be that..........
Get a Garmin Streetpilot 2610, coulor screen with touch, and has all the features like the build in nav. units, with very detailed map´s and p.o.i. such as hotel´s , gas station´s ect. ect.

yep..........handling wise. and not all springs are progressive. Cheap/low quality springs will make your car bounce. Think K-tec ones are Apex, but don´t know the p.i.´s. Had Eibach myself before I got me some coilovers:D
Get the Sportline, will drop a non 172 -50mm so aprox. -30-35mm on a 172. No point in getting the pro-kit on a 172 if you want to lower it as it´s only lower about -10-15mm. Get the pro-dampers with the sport-line springs and the 172 will handle almost as good as mine.........;)
The H&R´s are spot on when it comes to handling, and body roll is a thing from the past...........easy to adjust to suit your wheels and needs. 16" is no problem , i´m on 17´s with aprox. -65mm on a non sport = -55mm on a 172 so 16´s will be ok. The best thing I have ever spend my £££ on...
I got H&R and I can say they are just awesome, 2. to none but also a bit pricey.........Don´t think you can feel any difference from the FK´s when you drive ect. On the lowest the ride is not stupid hard, still a good mix betwenn handling and comfort. But still it´s sits very firm and solid:D=...
yup..........You can set it up just as you like it, depending on your wheels and how you want your car to look ect. ect. Handels way better than "just" springs. Hard to describe, you have to try it .......It´s the daddy of suspension:D
Only springs will be ok but your standard dampers will not handle wery well with a -60mm drop. Get some sports dampers like the Eibach pro-damper´s or simular and combine them with some -60mm springs like the pi, spax ect.
oh and next step will be Coilovers;)
ohhh:o Only wanted to see the diff. models as I saw a Clio with some Arospeed´s on........Riot, looks nice me think

The best money I ever spend!!!! The car drive and handles awesome.......Had Eibach pro-kit springs before and they were super, but nothing like the H&R coilovers........Wery wery awesome and looks good too:D
Had Eibach springs first, wery good handling and lowerd -30mm. But wanted it lower, and got the H&R. The handling is Awesome, you can´t compare it with only springs even thoug the Eibachs were wery good. The H&R coilovers make it corner like a gokart and are 2. to none. Im aprox lowerd -65mm on...
