They will wear out in no time.................And the noise they are makeing.....Sorry just don´t see what people see in them!!! But you get what you pay for!!!
Get the 17´s balanced........ If they are not balanced right the car feels jumpy!! How wide are your tyres?? wider tyres make more contact with the road, and then you need to hold the steeringwheel more when going over bumps ect.....If your car haven´t been lowerd alignment should be ok.
no not a 172 but the Michelin´s will be very good on a 172, loads of grip and good handling. Have a mate who have them on his 172.....drives awesome!!!
My new H&R kit did that in the back and they are fine........I had a look and every thing was ok. It´s the spring moving on the bottom when compressed.
Arch liners defo have to go!!! to be honest I don´t think you can drive in ohter than a strait line...........And no speed bumps at all!! with -60mm there is not much room in the arches.........Must look good thou;)
If you will look in the renault wiring diagrams when you are at work to see what number the pin on the ECU have it will be very helpfull..........Thanks again:D
ok thanks..........Just what I thought!!Had a multimeter on and that was also my guess. The wire from the relay is then broken as I can´t find it in the ECU socket as I been ohm all the pins
I have now tested the relay with 12v and it´s ok........When i make the connection with a wire the fan starts, so the signal from the ECU is not made. Had the multimeter on the wirepin at the relay socket but can´t find it in the socket that goes on the ECU??? should there be a wire from the ECU...
When I unplug the sensor nothing happens.........Have looked at the relays in the box near the inner wing, and tryed to switch them as there is 2. The metalpins was not correded and seemed ok. Will check them again and take some WD 40 and spray the pins mabye his will solve it...........The...
Arrrr Ok........ must be the ECU then.........But reno didn´t get any ifo on the computer.....I saw it myself as I was there. No fault readings on screen
Anyway thanks for the help, I can now tell Reno how it works...again!!!
I feel sorry for them already
Code is: CB0D F008026
But i´m sure there is no fan temp switch........Can the ECU loose the data, since it dont make the signal? must be a wire or somthing, but have had a multimeter on to check, and they seems ok:confused:
Weel I have been at Reno, and they looked like a BIG ?????, changed the CTS reader on the left side of the engine,or what it´s called, but the one I had was fine! Still don´t work, so i´m going there on monday to have a word with them:@
I almost knew more about it, than the guys at Reno, and...
The cooling fan at the radiator is not starting whem the engine gets hot. The fan is ok, gave it some 12v from the battery to see. The "reader" that sits at the engine works fine too,as it´new. soo it somting between thats not giving a signal to the fan to get going???
If thats the case go´ for coilovers!!! Std. shocks wiil not last, and are not made for -50mm. I think a spring kit with sport shocks will be a little less £££, but why don´t do it right the 1. time........;)
Look at K-Tec´s website, they have the Eibach´s and dampers to go with ém but also...
Koni´s are good, but -35mm are not much.....You will regret it, as you want to go´lower!! Eibach sport-line lover about 50mm and are wery good. I would say Eibach sport-line springs and some sports shocks to go´with your springs like the koni´s. If you don´t want any rubbing don´t go´ lower...
Yes coilovers are a whole new suspension system, shocks with springs and they can be adjusted in hight too fit perfect.

Kit with shocks and springs: like the standard...
You are better off with Coilovers so you can adjust the ride hight;).......-60mm on 17" should be fine when you go´for 7" rims and et37-38.
I had springs for a year (Eibach´s) and they were wery good, now i´m on H&R coilovers and thats a whole different story........They are truley awesome...
No not wery pricey, well cheaper than the mounted inn systems;) The cards are uploaded via your pc onto a CF-card. I think it´s good you can take it with you if you sell the car ect. Calculating the routes are faster than the cd, dvd systems as it takes longer to read from a disc, and it talkes...
Yes GPS works down to approx 3-4 meters........I have a Garmin 2610 and it´s wery good. Can take it with me into a 2. car as it is not mounted inn. It´s a great toy!!! touch-screen, remote, ect. ect. http://erc.qmuc.ac.uk/cliosport/gallery/full/1078572327__3655_36_0.jpg
