NICE.......Post a pic when done!!!
Have been thinking of getting 18´s my self........Will look so sweet when lowerd proberly. Think my 17´s look a bit small or mabye it´s just me;)
WHY 14´s????? You have to get sick low to get it too fill the arches.......And wery near the ground!!! = damage over the slightest bump or what ever lying on the road..........:o
You can get a slight rub from the rear over bumps or with boot full ect. when lowerd -60mm but nothing major. And even some rub on full lock but not all get this. Remember to get the right ET, or they wiil rub as fook........Aim for ET 37/38 and everithing will be ok.
You have to get a adaptor cable for each headlight from Hella. H4 socket to HB3 / H7, the standard motor units will fit strait on the DB-lights. You also have to insert a extra fuse in the side dash fuse box for the lowbeam to stay on when highbeam are selected to get the double optik effect...
yep no problem at all..........Just remember the right offset!!! You may have some tiny rubbing from the rear when the boot is fully loaded but only over bumps nothing too keep you from getting them.
Not a problem with a -40mm drop, mine is lowerd aprox. -65mm on 17´s and no need for arch work yet, but close.....;)
Just remember to get ET 37 or 38 and stick with 205/40-17 for the tyres
H&R coilovers are 2. to none. You will simply get the daddy of suspension!!! Had Eibachs before and they were pretty good, but the H&R´s are truley awesome..........well worth the money if you ask me.
Pilot Sport´s do the job in the wet, never had any probs with ém. I will defo get Mich. Pilot´s again only thing is that they seems to last very long.....;)
I have the Exalto´s in 15" and are very pleased with them, good all round and good grip. Will defo recomend them or some Pilot sport wich I have on me 17´s......best tyre I´ve ever had:D
Anyone heard of this??? Sounds like a V6 killer...I heard from a guy in France that there will be a limited edition of the Clio RS at the end of its time in 2005. It will have the 2litre Turbo engine of the megane RS, a 6 gear-box, 17" alloy wheels, cup suspension and from 0-100 km/h in 6,0 sec...
It´s not very hard too remove the dash, just take a bit of time. I have build my new Alpine tweeters in the original holes and angled them, looks very nice and the sound are 100 times better. took me a weekend because I had to cut the grilles in the dash, and had to cut it right...;)
You...
Are you sure about the offset?? how about a full side pics. If your tyre clears all way inside the arch, wich it should with ET 35 and a -50mm drop I would defo get the coilover springs looked at.......Can´t comment on the FK´s but I have no problems with my H&R´s and I am defo lower than...
I would have them checked, dosn´t sound right. ´Do you have a side picture of the car on coilovers? But still -60mm on 17´s should be no prob. defo sometning wrong with either the coilovers or the set up of them........
Then it should not rub on the inside as it sticks out more than a rim with ET 38 as I have. Strange.........Is it on both sides?? If not the spring could be to soft, what make are your coilovers
