That Halfords 150 piece set is awesome. I bought it, and it had everything I needed. Other than a breaker bar for the really tough bolts :)
Oh and regarding trade, that tool set is already half price, so buying that on trade it would actually cost more, because it takes the trade price off the...
Get someone to diagnostic check it. I had this problem, and thought it was the Lambda, however upon taking it to a garage, it was registering misfire on cylinder three, so changed spark plugs and ignition coil, and runs perfect now.
Plugs and Coil packs were £130 roughly.
The plugs were £8 each!, then the coil pack plus the coils.
I got them on trade from a motor factors.
Regarding the Lambda's. Both mine were the same length. I'm guessing if one's been replaced on your car already, a parts place just give you the longer...
Yea I know thats the risk I guess. Its the ANPR cameras Im worried about.
Coz Ideally I'd just apply online, but I don't know who the previous owner was as its from a dealer, then I run the risk also of not having it displayed.
Yea Guess I'll have to wait until then.
I rung the police (not on 999 lol) and asked, they said it would depend on who stopped me as to how they'd look at it.
I've just recently bought a new car, and need to tax it, but all the post offices are closed now.
I have the Tear off V5C part and Insurance certificate, is there anyway I can get the tax so I can drive it tonight?
If I apply online, which I don't think I can with just the tear off bit...
Put it on Diagnostics
Its come up with Misfire on Cylinder 3, So am going to replace Coilpack and Spark Plugs.
How do you actually get to the spark plugs on sports?
Edit I can see them, Does the plenum bit just unbolt all the way round then lift off?
Yea If I order them I'll get them both through you G.
But If I sort out my Lumpy Idle I might just try and get near as OEM from a factors and do them too today.
I'll let you know.
I've got the old Lambda off. and just went for to a motor factors to get a replacement.
Only thing is they didn't have bosch. Its NTK. Should this matter?
Yea basically the Length of wire on the connector is different for the two from the factory.
Don't know if it'd still reach though.
I'm guessing replacements are the same longer length, so will fit in both places, hence only being one available.
Yea mate, Except I drove it home 130 miles...
I need to replace the front discs / pads on a 182.
Obviously I know the best standard replacement are the Brembo HC's, but i'd have to wait for delivery.
If I wanted to do it today, would these be the same as OEM...
See my thread! I asked all the same questions mate:

ReaR: (Black line Indicates above/below Chassis)
Front: (Remove travelling nut above blue cup before putting on other bits in order of photo)
I was looking into these. I think I read somewhere on here that they don't attach to the bottom of the seat or something, so they don't stay on very secure.
I think I did a search and read it on here, I've not got any first hand experience of them though!
I'll give it a go tomorrow. Am I right in thinking they can be a pig to undo coz they'll be so tight? 22mm Spanner I think I read somewhere?
And the electric connector for the front sensor looks like a nightmare to get too!
Yea, so I think its the one in the manifold, which is faulty, so if I put the one thats in the cat, in the manifold, and the one in the manifold in the cat, if it runs fine after that, I'll know the sensor was faulty>?
My Clio 182 isn't running very smoothly, When I accelerate the power delivery is really jolty, it like jumps forward, and when its idling its very lumpy.
I think it could be the Lambda sensor, but want to check.
Now I understand the 182 has two Lambda Sensors. One before cat, and one after...
I had this problem, water had got onto the connectors and coroded them, had to chop them off and wire new ones in the end.
But I know loads of people on here have said clean the connectors thoroughly and that sorted it.
I'd say most likely its the connector.
Does his fog light do anything...
I've already made a big mistake in that he knows I'm coming from far away, and am interested in it lol :(
The reason I'm looking at this one, is I'm after a FF RB 182 with both cup packs, for >50k miles. And I've literally only found about four FF racing blues, and this is the only one sub 60K...
