Thanks for all the replies:D painted them in situ and yes i won't be doing it again either lol Calipers were in very good condition so a bit of brake cleaner and wire brush done the trick, the paint was some exhaust manifold stuff sprayed into the lid then painted on with a tiny brush...

Great pics!! not to keen on the exhaust that both tail pipes are offset to the left:S,Each to their own though. Alot smaller scale than the the last meet eh!;)

iirc the 197 doesn't have a dual mass flywheel! yes the noise will most likely be the release bearing and its a new clutch job. Don't know much on prices for 197's etc but i would say there won't be much change out of £500

Steer clear of EBC they have a tendancy to break up and the friction material falls out with the backing plate!!
