^^faulty C.T.S causes fluctuating temp needle. around £24 from renault i think. 10 miniute job.

light ticking can be numerous things carbon canister,injectors etc.. even woodpeckers.
is there any leakage comin from the underside of the engine? (aux belt side) could be leaky water pump which is causing a temp hike due to insufficent coolant in the system??
Say these clios came with 14" alloys that come on many non sports etc.. And then you slapped 17's on i can understand the massive throw out of handling as you stated in the above.

Yeh you don't update the standard map, just the ecu software then load the new calibration on(98Ron)
In my case the ecu software was 7802 and had to be updated to 7804 before loading the 98 ron map/cal file
Great bit of kit though and as said above the the laptop software/diagnostics is spot on
^^^mine was considerably noticable!! have heard a few stories of people not uploading the software update before installing the 98Ron calibration, if thats been done you won't notice anything different
Apex springs are renowned for giving a very harsh ride, i know its a different car but when i put them on my 182 the slightest bump in the road gave a good thud/knock.
Check that the two strut to hub bolsts are tight,springs seated correctly and that the top mounts are tight and reassembled in...
yeh its loads louder than the standard exhaust
