Great meet and some lovely cars well worth the ride up from wolverhampton, as said above the trip to SP was errm "difficult " lol especially when the people you are following are driving an RS250 and an M5 bmw at a decent pace;)
All in all a great day
Yes do the above Don't get it welded back in. I have had the bolt in plate before and it works a treat! If you can source a long enough drill bit there's no need to take the box out just remove the driveshaft

^^^Absolutely right I Bet they are knackered in one way or another plus a well looked after one would soon be snapped up and not even make it to ebay!!
Bet all need full belt changes too!
Give the throttle body a good clean out with some carb cleaner
And clean the tdc sensor whilst you are there but i would 95% gurantee its the throttle body coked up with crap, had the exact same problem on wednesday with a daewoo matiz.
Get yourself along to the chester meet this sunday wocka:D

What about a sticky at the top of the page with all brake options/setups/upgrades in:o
Just noticed you have a 172, was going to say i can email you the standard map but it won't work due to it coming off my 182:(
like you say it pays for itself if you are thinking of mapping the car in the future again plus the diagnostic side of the RStuner is great.
Remember to save the...
when you select clio 2 it drops the price, i recently paid £56 dependant on exchange rate it can change slightly.
The oem upgrade software gets emailed to you when you purchase an upgraded calibration
**Edit***
Never read the whole post lol email henk for the original map
Up to you but its common practice to change the cam seals behind the dephaser and exhaust pulley. comes as a kit with seals, dephaser and exhaust pulley bolts.
Don't forget you should change the crankshaft pulley bolt.
keep us posted how you get on
