The filter itself doesn't have to be a colour if its white and your LEDs are white there is no problem. If you used blue paper with
WD-40 it won't diffuse the light properly.
4 PLCC-4 White for center clock
4 PLCC-4 White for mileage
4 PLCC-2 Blue for rev and speed

Regarding the upper and lower dash they're identical, but if you were after transplanting all the ancillaries with it i.e. climate control, cruise. Unsure that they'll be plug and play.
hold the button on the end on the right stalk whilst turning the ignition. (don't need to start engine)
This will put the dash in diagnostic mode then simply press the reset button. (what you use the reset the trip counter)
This should then reset the dash.
Drive for a bit then you should get...
Eurghh won't the coilovers rub on these wheels or are they narrower or you wound up the coils too?
I'm sure I have some 5mm eBay specials somewhere if you want them.
I'm pretty sure it's a steering wheel off jobbie.
remove top and bottom cowl, then I think it may be T20 or T15 to remove the stalk from squib housing.
Then everything else will make sense from there.
to free the media stalk remove top cowl then insert a flat headed screwdriver into a clip...

Why would you want a PH1 dash in a PH2.
If you have the same dials as me all of the SMDs aren't the same, so there are 4 PLCC-4 for the LCD and 4 PLCC-2 for the dials thats the cluster and for the centre clock there are 4 PLCC-4 SMDs.
The heater panel was originally lit by 2 'dashboard' lights which are T5 capless bulbs inside a...
