friend took a few photos for me today while at pod, got a couple of other clios awell..., had a bit of a problem with the inj cover melting on the manifold on the convoy up ( must off came loose somehow:S ).. enjoy ( if i don't get all pics tonight ill get the rest tomorrow after work...

just got back myself, was a very good day apart from traction problems, got 4 runs in all, best was 15.1 and worst was 16.8:( , took quite a few pics so ill try get some up tonight... london convoy up was very good;)
not expensive to do mate only cost me £160 inc del for my kit, easy to fit aswell as the packs are only small ( they fit in a valver eng bay which has no room) well worth it imo.
12000k bulbs would be very deep blue which would look the bollox but won't be as bright as the 8000k bulbs, 6000k are even brighter but give off a more whiteish light.
you can get the kits from www.hid-lights.com , got mine from there for £160 inc del, went for the x5 8000k h1 kit forthe angel eyes but 1 of the lights got smashed when i crashed so im doing it with h4 lamps on std headlights now, just waiting for the lights to arrive....
ive got a full mongoose system with bb decat, very happy with the sound you get from it with the de-cat ( always popped like mad on th 1.8 but not so much on the 2.0) i'll get some pics tomorrow when its light, i thing tho is it bangs around s**t loads over the beam, heard it could be sorted...
nice one mate, did the same on mine but doing it on the std lights insted now. which make kit did u get? have any problems getting the lights to fit in the angel eyes?
cost was £300 , £150 for taking it out from smashed car and £150 to drop it in this, now left with a spare engine ,gearbox and basicly everything needed for a 16v conversion if anyones interested;)
went down to the garage today and they had finished fitting the engine in my car , felt well strange driving back home, but no problems or strange noises to report either , feels very very fast now its on the 15's and got no ice in so its staying like that till after pod... as all was going...
i was told the bottem of the light had cracked due to the bumper being pushed up:S , looked ok to me tho... picked the car up today with the engine in and all seems fine:D ready for santa pod now;)
the best bit is she first turned around and said i went to ford and they said it would be £800, quickly told her to go f**k, after a couple of private quotes got it down to £350, was told she need a new bumper and bumperstrip, rear light, painting bumper and fixing mounting points behind bumper...
also got a pic of the womans car who decided that the second these lights change from green to amber im going to slam on my brakes without any thought or consideration for the person behind me causing him to slam on his brake and do his best not to smash the f**k out of my car, ended up cliping...
gotta get it done for santa pod mate;) , it's a valver garf but got a 175bhp 2.0l in, also got a few other willy bits aswell and leather which is comfy as hell, a pic of how the above car looked at 1 point but got a ph2 grill and bits under headlights in blue later. gotta put the coilovers on my...
