I've got genuine Renault roof bars and ive forgotten the make of the cycle carrier but I also have a thule 591 carrier which I'd say is slightly better
F1s back on for the winter but finally got round to getting my cup spoiler sprayed and fitted along with my new spray shack bullets. Then a well deserved clean! Apologies for the I-fail pictures.
Ok so a few updates. New genuine Renault clutch fitted by the ever willing Fraz and Stu. Also received my new spray shack bullets and finally got my cup spoiler sprayed and fitted. On F1s again for the winter and gave her a well earned clean.
Lack of organisation is not really a problem if its a simple local meet.
However there are a lot of members considering going from Glasgow and Edinburgh areas which is a steady 2.5 hour drive each way and a decent amount of fuel. I know if I committed to that (which I am at the moment) I'd be...
Check out the following roads, might give some thoughts on planning routes. I think all of them can be google street-viewed.
A82 - Starts at Glasgow ends at Inverness. Takes in places like Fort William, Loch Lomond and Glen Coe.
A83 - Starts at Tarbet ends at Campbeltown. Can be busy with 30mph...

I'm sure Fraser, Stu and Michael won't mind me throwing these on from our trip to Northwest Scotland last year - a Sunflower, an Iceberg, a Titanium and a Flamer......and you might catch a Corsa about too!
I also have a "red one".
Can still pick one up quite cheap, mint ones with low mileage tend to get a bit more money. Goes for every car I guess.
They are getting a bit rarer now though.
Few updates since I last posted.........
Now colour coded all round, some brand new 2118s (although the F1s are now back on for the winter). After 18months shes been a reliable little thing, now on 79,000 miles.
Got a cup spoiler currently at the body shop so that will be on shortly. Fitted...
