Got mine all fitted:
From what I've seen most cable ties there's to the bracket running along the side of the battery and onto the ECU, but I found if I did that the metal pipe would actually stop the bonnet from shutting properly!
So I've cable tied it down onto a hole below the metal...
Stupid question here, removed my old airbox to fit my induction kit, and struggling to remove the cold air feed which goes down by the passengers side headlight
Can I remove this without taking the bumper off?
Tbf my ramair filter will fit on top of it if I lay it across, but then there's no...
Been meaning to get one of these for ages, so bought the bits today to give it a try...
If I like it I'll probably get a silicone 90 degree elbow to use instead of the plastic one...any ideas what I'll need?
@imprezaworks same as yours but in black, or purple if possible
Interesting, thanks both! Thought there might be a couple of things worth looking at
Brake setup wise, be interested to know what you'd recommended for road use and track?
Thinking Brembo HC Discs, Braided Lines, Decent Fluid, just unsure on the pads
Don't really want anything which will...
Current Spec / Mods : Cup Suspension, Cooksport Springs, Michelin PS3's, Whiteline Rear ARB, Rear Axle Spacers, Hubcentric Front Spacers, Polybushed Dogbone & Upper Engine Mount
What should I look at next?
Thinking Solid Top Mounts...probably Pure Motorsport ones
Car is used for fast road...
I'm sure I've said this before Dan, but this looks spot on
Easily one of my favourite 182's, and has all the mods done that I want! Makes me quite jealous actually
What makes it worse too I always wanted an Arctic....damn you
Never seen that either, I only live up the road form Abergavenny and I'm popping down there this evening
Where abouts was it? Might pop and have a look around!
Ended up buying these yesterday:
Need a good clean and a general tidy up, but I bought them at a half decent price so don't mind spending a bit of time on them
Think I'm going to get the Airbage Module for my RS Tuner (so I can turn the side airbags off) rather than going down the resistor...
Found some Recaro Trendlines I'm interested in, but they have a crack in the leather which the seller has ensured me that its not a rip
Can just this section be retrimmed, or would it need to the whole seat? And any ideas what sort of cost?
I know I'm better of asking some seat retrimmers...
Cheers buddy, few bits needed to get it all together and as tidy as I'd like, but mechanically it seems spot on (touch wood!)
Just working out what I'm going to do next, I keep thinking of changing to something else but as soon as I get into the Clio my mind changes, and the fact I'm 19...
No major updates, but it had an MOT today
Thought I better give it a quick clean as it was absolutely stinking!

4x 15" OZ F1's
Original Renault ones
Just been powdercoated so mint
With centre caps
How much should I be looking at paying?
Mates got some which he might sell, and quite fancy some for the track
I'd say get the belts done, as you should see the majority of the money back from it if you did go to sell it anyway! 197 cams sounds a good idea since your getting them done, and hopefully you should be able to pick some up at a half decent price - I've always fancied 438's but it's not worth...
Thanks Joe, nothing stunning as it was pretty much point and shoot
As you'll know Joe I was honestly thinking of changing for something else, as it wasn't quite 'scratching the itch' as they say, but after this trip out I've seriously changed my mind - it's really reignited a spark with it...
Thanks!
They are, although currently they're out of stock : http://cooksport.co.uk/shop/product/springs/renaultsport-clio-172-182-cooksport-springs
My advice would be to keep an eye on that regularly, as they do sell out quickly!
Went up to Elan Valley with a bunch of mates today :
