Thanks for that, that looks a good height actually! Definitely looks lower than my Cooksports
Just be nice to have the choice to go that low, not saying I will, but at least I can have the choice
Just read through this, looks great...and even better now it's got the supercharger!! Massively jealous
How did the mapping go? I'd be interested to see what sort of power it's pushing!
Great work Dawn, I'd get you to have a look at my BG if you weren't so far away! Just seems a shame to drive to you and by the time I get home it would be filthy again!
Actually, just looked - 2 hours away so not as bad as I thought, I'll drop you a PM for costs soon
Didn't realise that you...
How low do Bilstein B14's go? From what I've read they'll go plenty low enough on the front, just not sure on the back
I'm hoping they'll be lower than the Cooksports, especially on the back
Some side on pics would be fantastic!
Cheers, James
I believe they are coming into stock towards the end of March, that's what they've told me anyway
I've been waiting since the end of October for a set in 60mm spacing, tbh if K-Tec's offer was on sooner I'd of probably of got them from there, but as I've waited so long I might as well wait and...
If I was to do it up you'd be looking at £150 for new rear discs and pads all around, £400 for belts and dephaser, £200 wheel refurb and some time and effort = ~£750-£800
So then it's all up together and looking good, can't see me getting more than £1500 for one on 135,000 miles? Even if she's...
Not exactly the best advertising photos of it - it could do with a good clean and a bit of time spent on things like restoring headlights, refurbing alloys, etc
It would be amazing how much difference a clean and some decent photos would make it look, these photos definitely don't help...
Scrap that, belts were done in 2011, with receipt of parts from Renault
That'll knock the value down sharpish - So basically a 172 Cup, 135k Miles, Service history up to 112k Miles, No MOT, needs belts doing, will also need new rear discs and tyres to pass MOT
Don't think this is something...
I'll have a chat with him and see, at the end of the day discs will be £100, might need new pads on them as well so your up another £30 or so, plus if I'm gonna stick 4 new tyres on there it's amazing how much it all adds up to!!
A mate has got it, although looking to shift it on relatively quickly so I'm half tempted to give her some love, do the work which needs doing, put her through an MOT and sell it on and make a bit of cash
Just working out how much I should be willing to fork out incase it all goes tits up haha
52 Plate 172 Cup
135k Miles
Few invoices, belts done last in 2013
Good exterior condition, however wheels could do with a refurb
Currently no MOT
Only work which needs doing are rear brake discs and new tyres
Looking at getting my wheels powder coated, however I have been asked what RAL Colour I would like
I'm after a dark grey / anthracite
The problem is the guy who is doing the work for me doesn't have many different examples he can show me, so I'm stuck looking at RAL Colour Charts which really...
Anyone fitted one of the V6/Trophy Replica spoilers off eBay?
Thinking of getting one, already in primer so that it shouldn't react with the paint hopefully
Just wondering what the general fit and quality is like?
@dann2707 you've got one haven't you?
Cheers!
Then gave her a quick clean and decided to get some photos before it got filthy again

Time for an update I feel! Apologies for the load of photos, just thought it hopefully should provide proof of work for a self service (along with the purchase receipts)
I've done 6000 miles since I've had the car in my ownership, so thought it was time to give her some love and give her a full...
Can you use the same washer on the gearbox sump plug as the one on the engine oil sump plug? (Metal with rubber insert)
I've heard people use a copper washer, but was wondering if I could use a metal washer with the rubber insert.
Basically left or right washer for the gearbox sump plug...
If I'm honest I don't mind the build quality of the Clio, but I guess I haven't had any better made cars to compare it to
I just want to make sure that the Mini was a step up performance wise (power wise mainly, I've heard the handling is similar with coilovers and decent tyres) which I'd be...
Good to hear! I really do fancy one, but only concern is that it's more of a sideways step then an upgrade compared to the Clio
Now you've got your reduced pulley fitted - how does it compare to the Clio speed wise when pushing on?
I'm hudt hoping it would be a noticeable difference from a 182...
Never realised Turinis fitted, guessing they're the same PCD?
I just like the idea of something similar to the 182, which feels slightly better made and easier to get power from - my main concern is that I doubt one running at 210/220bhp (reduced pulley, intercooler, cold air feed) will...
