Yesterday I was cleaning the inside of my car when I noticed that the passanger side footwell was damp...When I lifted the carpet and removed various bits of trim I found that the sponge that sits beneath the carpet was absolutely soaking...I knew I had a leak somewhere as my windows kept...

Today I was fittin my new steering wheel, the other one wouldn't budge...I was pulling the wheel off (I'd already moved the wires out of the way) but as I pulled one of the wires caught and it yanked the wire out, the cable is a white wire when held up to the light has four electrical wires...

I've looked all over the forum for this...I need new bulbs for the backlight of the clock/temperature screen, because at the moment mine is as dim as, and only displays when sunshine is directly shining on it. If you could link me to a website/ebay where I can buy them I'd be forever grateful...

A few weeks ago, I started hearing squeeking (very loud) from the front of the car under braking (seems to be front right). I changed my discs & pads this week and it's still there, but doesn't occur as much....Any ideas anyone? I did use copper grease btw. Cheers Liam

I bought some Red Dot Racing pads a long time ago when a parts store was closing, got them for £2.50 lol. I'm going to be replacing my discs & pads this week, I've already bought some mintex discs but was just wondering which manufacturer of pads are better....Mintex or Red Dot Racing?

This might sound a bit stupid to some, but I've taken the HT leads out, looked down and the Spark Plug is sitting about 6 - 8 inches down the pipe, I have a 10mm spark plug socket to remove & fit the new plugs, but it's too wide to get down the pipe, what the f**k do I do? :rasp:

Basically I've got a 1.2 Clio (51 reg) and I'm on my first year of driving (started in April 2009). I was paying £1000 3rd party before I passed my test (provisional) with Quinn Direct, I passed in June and my insurance jumped to £3000 after I called them to let them now...Does this seem right...

Yesterday my keys fell out of my pocket and unfortunately my fob broke, I was able to open my car and drive it using the key manually...Came to the car last night, opened the car with the key, went to start it..nothing, no noise whatsoever, the flashing LED (I presume the immobiliser) on my dash...

I bought the car the other day and it seems to have a very strong musty smell inside, it has a sunroof and I have checked all doors, the sunroof, boot etc for leakage but it's all fine. Any ideas of what it could be? Is this common on this car? Thank you Liam
