I had the belts done in March. Do you think it hasnt been plugged back in then? Surerly it cant have just came loose on its own.
Has anyone ever had this problem before or heard of it and know what it could be?
I drove a 1.2 mk2 i was looking at buying and the accelerator pedal felt strange. It was stiff, still worked but didnt feel like it should.
Is there a specific brand people advice to go for / avoid?
Im looking on euro car aprts and they have a couple of different brands but also under the reg check it states there are different versions.
This is for a rear wheel on a mk2 non sport 1.2
Both were changed 2 tears ago and the right...
Lol. The fuel gauge is digital and has around 8 bars when filled up completely. It normally drops down one bar after 50-52 miles. But now its dropping down after just 44 miles.
the title might read strange i know....
I have just had 2 new front tyres put on the 1.2 mk2 and we have gone from getting 50-52 miles (per bar on the digital style dials) to now getting 44 miles.
We have gone from hankook k115 to Continental premium contact 5. They are both C rating for...
Im sure ps4's start in 17" ?
I dont want to waste money on it with something that isnt essential. The standard suspension feels great and really compfy after years of being low and bumpy.
I then put together the standard strut. I then scratched my head wondering how on earth i was going to fit this back in place and get the bolt spaces to allign !?!?
Following advice I used a bar to pry down the hub and finally after lots of wriggling around and swearing, I saw that open hole...
The clio failed its MOT last week for a weakened front strut.
I have wanted to change the coilovers back to standard set up for a while now so this gave me the motivation to do it.
I mentioned a while back how I wanted to start learning to do work on the car myself and not waste money paying...
Yea mate, i dropped the axle all the way down. Actually had to hold the springs in place while jacking the axle back up as there was that much of a gap they were falling back out.
How did you guess....
I never post on it, but this weekend thought it might help with quick responses. Typical of some people to act like that, but its life and you will always get it.
All sorted now so a massive thanks for everyones help! And an extra thanks for no silly posts and you all being genuine! Exactly why cliosport gets my £12 every year! Worth at least 10x that!
Ha! The garage I went to had a rite laught together when I said it to them!! I do know the difference, not sure why I have wrote it and said it out load that way!
Cheers. On this picture, does the spacer part go under the m14x1 bolt i need then? Or does that form part of the very top part of the mount that you would see from the engine bay?
Ok mate, thanks again. ny ideas if Renault actually sell that bol seperatly then?
Why it doesnt come with new top mounts confuses me!
@Dr Jekyll is this the bolts you might have spare at home?
Thanks mate. I cant work out why they are not sold with both bolts that you need then. So the bolt pictured on ebay advert is the very top part.
The bolt on my coilover currently that i need and get get free seems to have a collar piece on it too and not just a straight forward bolt. Unless im...
Thanks for your help mate. So, the bolt pictures in the ebay add. Is that the bolt for the damper /springs / metal cap and lower part of the top mount. Or is that the bolt that is the very final piece which you would see from the engine bay keeping the very top part of the top mount on?
Am i getting confused here.
Ok, so the ebay link with the picture, that appears to be missing another bolt doesnt it? Or is that a new design where the bolt is seperate to the very top piece of the top mount?
Look at these pictures. My very top piece of top mount is all one part, it doesnt...
