strange question / silly question....
Plastic style wingnut on gearbox, should this be easily removed by hand or should i be using some specific tool to remove it? Car in question is a qashqai, but i imagine the question relates to all cars as I believe they all have this type bolt.
Never seen the colour before but quite like it.
How does the deal work?
2k deposit, plus £5040 over the 24 months so a total of £7040.
What happens after the 24 months? Do you get any of that cash back or have you simply rented a car for 24 months at a cost of £7040 and then hand

Could it cause any issues? It seems to be fine and where it has broke away doesnt seem to affect the main part of it. Any idea if i can get that as a replacement or would i need a full new unit?
Yes the hose was a bit difficult but went on easier when i attached the top piece first. Why would...
Managed to get the egr valve out as i thought it would be wise to see if it needed a clean. I ended up doing this while trying!!
I have put it all back together and tightened it up as the main park kees it all inplace, but will it cause any issues or should it be fine?
Just went out and its...
This is whats happened! Just in the middle of doing it now. Or trying to lol...
Theres a small pipe part too which was still on the turbo. Any ideas? Like a plastic ring.
Driving at around 70mph and a strange sound, then the car felt atrange. It sounds like a hairdryer when I put my foot down. Its still driving but doesnt have the power. Engine also sounds louder as if theres an aftermarket exhaust on it.
Any ideas anyone?
Worst part is I was driving home from...
I was going to put 4 PS3's on but spotted a set of standard 182 wheels with all new tyres for a bargain so thought it would make sense to buy them and put them on.
I will eventually put PS3's on the turinis at some point and this will give me a chance to give them a good clean up.
In reality...
This looks so good, nice work! I keep hinking about doing it to my dci, but there arnt as many flamer 172's being broke so its hard to find the parts.
Does the dci run ok without any issues?
I started doing it myself last year on the 1.2 and dci, but the 182 had the belts done so it didnt need servicing again until now. It really is so easy, saves you a load of money but also lets you know your using the best parts / oil. Cheers mate i will do.
I serviced the 182 tonight which is the first time I have actually serviced it myself. It had the major service done last March when it was on 81799, so althought this was now 16 months ago, it has only covered 3519 miles. I will be doing a lot less than this each year now, but will make sure it...
I know they have a code for free delivery.
Everywhere has different prices, its frustrating why there is such a difference. I have found a company called Vospers who were cheaper than renaultparts even with their free deliver for oil and air filter, yet the shocks are cheaper from renaultparts...
I get your point, but It has had many miles and memories made in it already over the 9 years i have owned it. 1k miles a month commute to then leave stood in a public car park is more of a shame to me.
It has been ages since I updated the thread so thought I would bring it up to date....
Back in October last year I decided to stop using the 182 completely (bought the dci above for daily use) to keep the miles down, as my intention is to never sell it. The past few years I have only been doing...
I can buy a new alternator from Renault. They are £180 so thats OK. I just need to find someone who can come and help me fit it. Its still sat on the drive...
