This arrived today, it isnt a car part, but it is for the car....
My eml light is on at the minute which I believe is due to a lambda sensor needing replacement. Hopefully this will be able confirm this and turn off the light
Im going to use it to turn the loght off before changin the sensor and then see if it brings the light back on. Just out of curiosity.
Then i will put a new sensor on and erase the fault again after that.
Yes i heard to only ever use the bosch ones.
Its just a cheap thing from ebay but has a year warranty and says it can read and erase engine faults so thought i would give it a go.
Cheers mate. Where abouts is the sensor ? Is it passenger side?
I have just ordered a fault code reader so if i change the sensor i will be able to then clear the fault and get rid of the light on the dash.
Wonder if it has ever been changed?
I know they are the same, just cant remember which way round they are and dont want to order the wrong one.
Any ideas how easy the pre cat is to be changed on a driveway? Is it possible to do without a ramp.
Evening all,
Can anyone confirm what the correct sizes are?
There are 2 available, either 480mm or 690 mm. Which is pre cat, and which is post cat (the one that plugs into the cat/de-cat)
Thanks
Looks amazing Dawn.
Polishing cone on ebay - 252135410654 - £2.56 each posted. ( from China, but that doesnt matter, it just takes a few weeks to arrive)
Not true at all mate.
I have my car serviced on an annual basis. I only cover aroind 6k a year, but regardless of that, if i covered 10k a year i would still get it serviced annually.
So when it comes to my annual service for the sake of an extra £20 for oil that i know is the best it can be...
can anyone help with this.
My brothers Twingo 133 only came with 1 key and we want to get a fully working spare key.
Is it a Renault only job?
Im sure i read someting on here a while back but cant find anything.
Thanks
The same thing happened with 1*2's years back, then they went back up in price. Hopefully that will be the same with the Twingos.
My 20 year old brother has just bought one as his first car. Picked it up at a fantastic price.
I drove it home when we picked it up and although not as much power...
Thanks Mick. I will let you know as being honest this is used for work and dont really want to spend cash on it.
Also, i really dont have a clue how they are wired up anyway. Is it something that can be done on the drive or would it need to be up on ramps?
Yes Mick, the rear bumper has had 4 holes cut out for the 4 sensors. It isnt something i would do myself, but the car came with them and both myself and my partner really like them. (We have had the car for over 2 years now).
Its used for travelling to work and sensors are great when parking in...
Anyone know how they are fitted in the first place?
The car came with them on, yesterday they suddenly stopped working. Not even getting the initial beep when selecting reverse.
Cheers lads.
Clutch was replaced last year so can't / shouldn't be that!
Gear stick does have play in it. Could that be selector? If so, I'm not even sure what part I would need and how easy it is to replace.?
The issue is on a mk2 1.2 16v Clio.
When starting the car on a morning, if you try to put it in reverse you can hear it crunching. However, if you put it in 1st and then put it in reverse it is fine.
Any ideas why?
Also I am quite concerned as it has started to feel like it won't go in any of...
You will be gutted after selling this. However a house is way more important, hope you get what you are looking for.
Where did you get the boot mat from?
I dont have cruise control with the smaller wheel although there is a guy on here who has made an adapter which i will be getting as soon as i can get hold of a spare loom.
Mine ticked on to 80k last week.
