Im not 100% on that, sorry.
I believe there are a number of different things that could cause bad economy. I would imagine if it was the lambda causing it, there would have been an eml light on the dash to reflect the issue.
Best off putting a thread up in engine section and ask mate.
Its the normal button without the omp sticker on do you mean?
If so, my wheel is the older version and the button is one full piece, not just a omp sticker.
Car is looking good mate.
I dont think you have mentioned it but apologies if you did and i have missed it. Where did you get the horn button from? It looks better than the omp type that comes with the wheel.
I mentioned above that im determined to become more competent with fixing things myself. As I recently got the jack and axle stands I made a start on getting my hands dirty today.
I started with the other halfs clio which we both use for travelling to work.
I ordered everything needed to do a...

Thank you for the advice.
Put 2 new lambdas on. Right hand is cut and bleeding but i have got it done at least, ha.
Not sure if you can help with this one.... The lambdas i have put on were 2nd hand from someone on here breaking a 182.
I started it up and cleared the eml...
Afternoon,
In the middle of trying to change lambdas. I dont feel compfortable using just the jack, plus the sills are badly bent which is what i have used to jack on at the moment.
Where can i put 2 axle stands to allow me to move the jack out the way to get under?
I managed to get my hands on a brand new 182 steering wheel which came up on here from Serkan all the way in Turkey.
My plans for this are to store it away and keep it for the future as I intend on storing the clio away at some point when no longer required for daily use.
The wheel arrived...
Ours has just ticked on to 100k, we use this for work so my 182 doesnt rack up the miles.
Very true, all the below for that price posted.
Oil
Oil filter
Sump washer x2
Air filter
Pollen filter
What is the best way to remove the oil filter on a mk2 1.2 16v clio?
I can see it on the bottom left side of the engine. I will be jacking the front up and putting it on axle stands to have enough room but can anyone tell me if you would remove the wheel and arch loner and get to it that way...
Hi,
Can anyone share a picture of the bolts that secure the airbox in place?
There are 2 in total, one at the back and one at the front right side
Thanks
Surely this isnt a true statement though!?
I want to change mine, but they have been on the car since new for the past 10 years so standard can not be that bad can they.
For a long time now I have wanted to be able to do more work on the clio myself. I would like to replace the engine and gearbox mounts and think I will read up on here and attempt it myself.
I got a car jack and set of axle stands as a birthday gift which will allow me to be more hands on...
You need to buy some resistors for the airbag wires? The ones that come whith the wheels never seem to work. Go to maplins, ask for 3.9 ohm.
Angle sensor is the black disk yes. Ideally when you removed the original wheel you shouldnt of touched the angle sensor at all and left it in straight...
Congratulations, that was a fantastic read.
White is such a great colour on these. Hige mistake not bringing them out in this colour as standard, although i suppose they were brought out before white started to become popular.
If the major service was getting done would it be a good idea to have all 3 replaced at the same time or would it still be a lot of extra work for the specialist to do?
Anyone know exactly what is involved with fitting all 3?
Can it be done at home on the drive? If so , exactly what tools would be needed?
And most important of all, does anyone have a guide or step by step pictures?
Around 30mpg so I think both sensors could do with being replaced.
Its good to know I can change them myself now and be able to nock the light off without having to go to a garage.
@MRBILLYUK @klm182
The fault reader arrived today so i have had a go. It brought 2 fault codes up, both Lambda although im not sure which is which ...
I have erased the faults and the light has gone off.
I will see if it comes back on before i change the lambda sensor.
