I noticed this morning that when I use the drivers leccy window in my 172, a relay clicks under the dash somewhere, yet when I use the passenger window there is no relay click??
Should the drivers window have a "one touch" function for up and down? I have to hold the button down to move the...
I paid 10,750 for a 9month old 03 plated car, and I have to admit if Im honest, part of me wanted to wait for the 182.
But I went for the 172 as I had the part ex and it was always going to go down in value the longer I waited etc so decided it was the right thing to do at the time.
Now...
Most people are going for the "hole in the screen" because it is the only part of the screen that doesnt have the heat reflecting stuff.
How often are people updating their units?
The only problem Ive found is that sometimes it pops out of the cradle, only enough to disconnect itself and...
So if these Michelin Exalto2s are soo superb, why are people not running them on the 172s?
As the 182 wheels are 7" same as 172, presumably we can run the same 205/45/16 tyres? I think they are 195/45/16 on the 172 as standard?
When I bought mine (03 Red 172) I looked at:-
2 Silver
3 Black
0 Blue
1 Red
1 Cup
Imports tend to black or silver coz they are the most popular colours that people buy etc. This in turns helps the Reds/Blues to be rarer cars.
I think it does mean to a certain extent that they are more...

All this talk is really making me tempted to order.
Keep us informed with your progress and how you like it. You running with a standard back box? or an aftermarket one?
My first thought would be.....
How the hell will it fit? If it does fit, its gonna be one hell of a squeeze, its a tight squeeze in the 172 car let alone a different one.
You even commented in the thread Lee :D

Where the air feed goes into the air box. Bottom corner near the battery.
So the air box draws the air in directly, rather than thru that constricting pipe.
There was a discussion on it here, the other day.
Just fitted an ITG foam filter to my mk2 172.
mmmmm, thats a nice induction roar.
Im sure the pickup is better as well.
Also followed the advice of some of the guys here, and disconnected the feed So it bypasses the narrow air feed.
So wed only actually be saving £20 over K-Tec on the 172 GAZ coilovers? Seeing as they are 468inc VAT.
And we get 5% off there dont we? which makes them £446 inc VAT at a quick guess?
