This would presumably give some good increases for little outlay.
In terms of bang for buck, its gotta be better than the Viper? I know its a diff type of mod, but in terms of power increases its better isnt it?
Id be well up for it, if I can run the decat pipe with my standard backbox for...
The origin b2, doesnt really take that much to wire it up, I could remove the full wiring and refit in 20mins maybe?
For me, it was a toss up between the S6 and the b2, so therefore Id say maybe that the S4 is a class below? The S4 uses the same database as the S6.
The b2 was irrrestible...
So a De-Cat will see more gain than a sports cat then?
Even coupled with the standard backbox?
Presumably, you could install a de-cat with the standard bbox, and then change the bbox for summat else later on?
Thanks for ther advice guys.
Still concerned about the idling, I guess Ill just have to compare it to another 172 at a meet.
The last 2 cars I have owned have both been Diesels, so although loud idlers, theyve both been smooth idlers.
That Pedal/Cruise Control thing seems a bit strange...
Right, 2 questions for ya :)
1.) The idle on my 172, seems very lumpy. The needle doesnt jump around, but even sitting in the car, you can feel the car judder about with the idling engine just ticking over. Its the same cold or hot. Ive been told its down to "wild cams", but is this really...
I fitted my origin b2 over the weekend and discovered that my speedo over reads.
When the speedo says 80, the origin says 75.
It seems to be roughly 5mph above the actual speed?
I am running on the standard wheels/tyres combo.
Is this normal?
To get the discount, you just call em up and quote your cliosport membership number.
The Origin b2 has a superior database over the road angel, thats not to say the road angel is a bad product.
Just do your research, then plump for the one that suits you best.
For me it was a toss up...
Oi Stupid!! ;)
Its more for the subtle look, when Im not in the car. Id prefer to know that it looks just like a normal clio to the untrained eye.
More of a sleeper look :)
The Front seats will fit (theyll just have the tilt and slide for rear entry)
The rear seats are nomally different in most cars, this is coz the seats are narrower in a 5door car because of the width of the doors etc. I know this was the case with my mk1 golf, I tried putting a 3dr interior...
160 seems too low to me?
I mean, I know the engine isnt benchtested in the 172, but was expecting more than 160bhp. After all, supposedly thats why the clio 172 is called a 172 innit?
Just took my car to a rolling road that Ive used on previous cars, so Im happy with the RR itself.
My car came out at 160bhp, is this correct for a mk2 172?
Heres the figures:-
Max 160 BHP at 6562 rpm
Max 137 lb/ft at 5500 rpm
There is a definit drop and then pickup in the graph between...
