Hi, I need some new front tyres for my 172 cup, any suggestions? I would have liked the Hankook V12's but I don't think they do them in this size.

I'm ordering two new tyres today, but stuck between the Kumho KU31 Ecsta sport or the Hankook ventus V12's. What do people think?? :S I have searched the forum and the Hankook's get great reviews from people.

Hi, I am going to buy some meguiars cleaning products, but not sure hat would be best. I have been looking at Halfords and have seen the Meguiars Gold class Car Wash and wax kit and also the smooth surface clay kit. Has anyone had any experiences with these two products and which one is the best??

Hi all, My mate is having his 172 cup rear brake discs changed, he has got the discs and they do not have the abs ring on. He has just had a call from the mechanic saying that the discs should have an abs ring on, because the ones on the car now have the ring. I didn't think the cups had abs...

Also what make is the genuine Renault clutch is it Valeo by any chance?

Hi, My clio is now approaching 5 years old, the mileage is 48k, obviously I am going to have the cambelt and aux belt changed. With regard to the service, what service should I be having done? Any help would be appreciated! Thx

Contacted my local Renault Dealer today and got a quote for a cambelt & aux belt change and also a new clutch whilst the engine is out. They quoted £1k, is this price reasonable or not? :dapprove:

The ticking carried on even when I dipped the clutch. When the car was parked up the ticking carried on. Not sure what it could be!?

Yeah it speeds up the faster you go, and gets louder...very strange.

Driving earlier today and then suddenly something started ticking coming from the front of my car, it started quietly and then got louder as i was going along. I went straight to the Renault garage to get a technician to see what it was, then when i started the car guess what, no ticking....I...

I want to top up my brake fluid, I have taken off the engine cover and got to the brake fluid bottle, then taken off the plug thats attached to the cap. However, I still cannot unscrew the cap as the engine is in the way? Any help would be most appreciated? Probably being dumb!
