not had them set up yet properly so couldnt tell you the true improvement, but so far i'm majorly impressed with them. Cars on the floor and still is ok to drive, handling seems pretty good so far too. Took a sneeky pic which will be posting later of the current ride height :approve:
I had the highsports on my 1.2, for what they cost were a brilliant set of suspension. As for the konigsports on a 172, i'll tell you after i've taken mine for a test drive tonight ;)
^ thats the one i nearly bought, but got this one at a bragin basement price instead. As for aftermarket wheels, they're a must on a ph1 172 imo. THis is a 320mm momo millenium evo (i think)
im no mechanic but dont think it'd work tbh. it'd be easier to chuck a 1.6 dynamique rear axle on which on the later models came with rear discs. but that would mean youd have to use some other alloy wheels.
as for the insurance your onto a loser there, as they look at why you want to...
the bottom pic is a photoshop, at the mo i have kw v2s on thef ront and eibach pros on the rear so looks like its nosediving. Also the fronts of pissiing oil so needed a new set anyhow. Getting fk konigsports for her :)
chris - you still meeting us tonight at trafford centre to get the caps...
aye, would be a good opportunity for some pics! think jamies sold his now craig was for sale at some point last year anyhow. Remember his was the first one i'd ever seen, bloody lovely
Good choice on the coils, i'm picking up my konigsports tomorrow from russ, the kw's just wernt low enough...
lol christopher has got the 197 ones which are like italics.
due to the fact the renault is drilled in, want to replace just the sport with something smaller and less chav. as every punto has a 'sport' badge on it now
hi all,
i need the part number for a 225 trophy rear 'sport' badge.
thanks a million - would try my luck at renault but who knows what they'd order for me lol
few different manufacturers for the shocks. can go aftermarket to people like koni / bilstein. i think monroe make OE replacement ones which are normally available for the same price as renault ones.
looking good! i'd get an airbag sticker for the dash trims though just to make em look slightly more oe, bloody good job if its your first attempt at spraying too
dont pay to get them refurbed, take em off the car sand em down and polish them back will look awesome and for free. Go with what you think, you like them you keep them doesnt matter what anyone else thinks.
