prices vary. if you can get a fellow cliosporter to do it and you help out should be circa £40 depending on products needed. if you have a 'proper' company come and do it then it'd be around £80-100 from what ive heard off detailingworld.
Re: What the f**k has A18XHO done to my car?!?!?!?!?
that actually made me laugh :approve:
takes a while for the springs to settle but its a nice ride height and removes the tractor standard height. still plenty of room under the arches to go lower though ;)
my sports cat was 150 quid, decats are less than that. Best bet is to buy a second hand cat and bash the internals out of it. Noise wise it'll make it more raspy, performance wise depends on the car really
on th engine, about 1,5k. Didnt make anything myself bar the cold air feed. I do have photos of it if your interested, but to be honest spending that much on mods isnt worth it. I'd save your money and get a good set of coilovers, best mod i did to mine, and kept up with much faster cars round...
it is usally made off the car working off a template as it ideally needs to be heated in a kiln. then they can bond it onto the steel with glue essentially. the other method is to make a full panel (like they do with a bonnet) which has reinforcing bars etc. and then the old roof is cut out.
a viper and a good air feed made the biggest difference on my 1.2. Also put on a sports cat and stealth system, which seemed to make it slightly more torquey. Was rolling roaded at 85bhp, so 10 on standard.
you have to specify that as an option when you buy on, as they all come undrilled. if you wanna leave it undrilled you can put washer jets on the scuttle panel, or run one up the wiperblade.
certainly a justified argument ^ but it really does depend on what you want. as standard my ph1 was amazing fun, so theres no real reason to replace it, other than for looks which is my priority and reason for coils.
i will be using locke and hankey for all my spraywork in the future. they're in congleton cheshire and all the work ive seem them do is spot on.
not cheap, but do you want a cheap sprayjob lol.
depends on a number of factors, such as is the bonnet actually the right size - have the holes being drilled out in the correct place. etc on my old car we had to elongate all the renault brackets to get more adjustment but it was a bit of a nightmare.
when i put some CG new look on the tyres it sprayed all over the side. so reverted back to the megs and that too is now spraying all over the sides when it never used to before using the CG :S
hes not had any problems, but completely depends on what you want out of your suspension. i personally view fk/gaz as an upgrade from springs to get a specific ride height so comparing them to something worth three times as much isnt a justified argument.
i also think that using the excuse...
yeah its in the centre console. but the biggest question is was the car driveable afterwards? as otherwise the ecu will need to be unlocked which caused adamhodg a load of problems when he attempted it on his.
unfortunate i'd be on the phone to renault uk in the morning. who gives a flying fook about warranties as thats going to cost a fortune to get fixed, unless of cause youve got protected no claims on your insurance.
