Well you can do, but unless you think you really really need it its just money better off spent on petrol etc or saving for the next car, new style renault badge might look quite nice like you say without the sport bit.
I dont think you can do much more to it without ruining it really mate, as it sits it looks very nice.
I havent read it all but any money you have spare i'd put into servicing, new track rod ends, ball joints etc if the need them... just anything to improve the feel of the car that doesnt cost...
Job done. Just had some time to check things over with the car so going through the motions along with polishing the rail guard.
Is it worth cleaning the TDC ? read what to do, also where it is located? under the gear box?
I'd also like to check i've got the right sparkies in there, if i take...
All the problems bar one or two is all in the joy of owning a slightly older car, just enjoy fixing the little bits and enjoy driving it, Love the engine bay colour coding.
One more thing i might as well add to here, if i take my throttle body off to clean the inside, do you leave the valve still? or can you move it open with your finger to clean it properly?
Ok cheers so there's no way of telling it is from a 182 if i get one? just have to go for a 182 listed inlet and hope it actually is.
I was also thinking, not sure that it would make any difference, but has anyone used PTFE washers (i haven't found any that are the right size, but a quick...
Im not sure if it is called that still but i would guess its an upper inlet manifold?
Anyway the front left hole for one of the engine cover bolts has the thread stripped out, that and i want to paint the inlet black but at the same time want to really keep the one it has on at the moment...
Need to do an oil change on mine soon, probably go for the fuchs titan race pro S then.
Or whats the cheapest yet decent to get? and renault for the filter or just a aftermarket ?
Yeah, thats where his was leaking from, turned out to be a cracked housing and the gasket was split too because of this.
If you do end up ordering the housing, make sure you order the gasket as well, because on my housing the gasket was seperate and i had to make a repeat visit to Renault.
My grandad had this on his 1.2 and it looked like the back of the engine where the leak was, but it turned out to be the thermostat housing, they are plastic so crack or the gasket perishes.
Looks good, mine too about 45 mins and 15 of that was at the end tweeking the way it sat in the recesses, got it near on perfect, used a cable tie or two on the exhaust hangers.
Think that pic could be mine?
I liked them when i was younger, tried to make the rest of the dials match, did everything bar the Climate control on the 1.2, ran it for a year then sold the kit, they did look VERY aftermarket, but on a non sport if thats what you fancy there ok.
Like the...
I agree with Heez, depends what your after i suppose, but im running 2x 19" wide at the moment and looking for 2x 22" as an upgrade soon, multitasking saves so much time.
The H7s blew, had a few philips 501s blow too, obviously being a high performance bulb they dont last as long as the normal ones, I sent the second blown one off to osram and they sent me a replacement, but overall for the 15-20 quid every 10 months it wasnt a big deal.
Yeah they are a great upgrade, slightly white light but still orange, i chose them over the cheap ice white bulbs on my 1.2, can see much more in the dark, Philips blue vision 501 side bulbs are a great match.
I found for me they didn't last that long though, went through 3 sets, would have one...
I'm still umming and arring, I want one but i forgot it didn't have an SD card slot, one of my main wants was to be able to whip my memory card out of the camera and put it in the iPad, still there is the USB adapter. And the low storage capacity annoys me, does anyone know why its still low? i...
Re: iPad 3 - March 7th.
Seeing as i havent owned an iPad yet and like what this one has to offer ill have a think about getting one, so the 32gb at $599 works out to about £370, not too bad i thought it would be more.
