Change the coil pack, or get a diagnostics...
Easy job to do yourself, 4 bolts off the coil pack, lifts off, then pull each coil out and replace in the right order.
I had to change it on my grandads clio and my clio (1.2) same symptoms, drives ok but try and accelerate in 2nd or 3rd and it...
Re: do you need to have your alligment looked at once you have had a track rod end fi
Yes, and my local tyre center charges nothing to check, and £13 if it needs adjusting.
Ah right, if its the sticker thats shrunk and split or else... then yeah I would say the stickers are stuck on after the bumper has been sprayed so its not to worry.
I have seen someone selling the stickers that they have made themselves, but its just a template of the sticker cut out on some...
Yeah its a sign your front bumper has been resprayed, from factory the black stickers go over the paint.
Ive never looked into it but I would guess its cosmetic looks, makes the intake look wider.
Just get some vinyl or 3m di noc carbon off ebay and cut your own stickers out.
Glad its sorted mate, all part of the fun/pain of cars, I only know the small amount I do from fixing faults and servicing... and I love it :o (please nothing break on my car now I've said that)
I've had a look at the Suzuki again today, running out of time for fixing it because the girlfriend will be away from home for 5 weeks, I've driven it and moved the wheel to hear for noise, the only part i can feel a click in and now think the problem lies with is the drivers inner tie rod...
Holy s**t!
Did exactly the same thing about a week ago, was polishing metal and somehow it had stuck itself to one towel on the bench.
Really pissed off, ruined about 30 quids worth of cloths, was livid.
Yeah I see what you mean mate, it just sounds like its not from that area, could be the other side too :\
Will have to replace the drivers cv but I just think i might end up still needing to do the lower control arms, I guess ill end up having to do the lot!
Cheers for the response, yeah I just don't know what to go for at the moment, I want the car running good its facing a few months of solid motorway driving soon away from home so I dont need anything going wrong where I cant get to it.
The drivers CV boot was split for a while i only found it...
I know this is a Clio section but if mods could allow this one thread I need help with my girlfriends car please.
We experienced a clicking/clacking on turning corners when accelerating, i discovered the drivers CV boot was split, and i also decided to replace both track ends either side and...
Quite a lot there mate, shame you havent found the problem yet, another thing ive thought of is possible the cambelt has slipped and the cars timing is now out?
Might be worth asking if this can be moved into "Engine,gearbox..." section but this is probably the right section to be in.
I removed mine and put a bolt in the hose at the wheel end, ive seen some people have a short 3inch length of tube at the throttle body end thats blanked off, is this better or no difference?
when i start the car it idles at around 1200rpm is that normal? I read originally that if the pipe...
So have you checked the plugs one by one for each spark?
Ruled out its not the injectors now? Cleared the on board fault finder, ran the engine and see if the t--- code has come back?
Im not a propper mechanic obviously but if it was me id go through the motions and hope to find something...
Ive just done the press button and turn battery on test on mine and I had t--h... which means at some point ive also had an injector fault and an oil level sensor fault, but I'm not having any problems so I've cleared those and ill see if any re appear.
What im saying in that is hopefully it is...
Bank hol tomorrow but there must be a garage open ?
Edit just seen this
Stored faults
t mean an injection fault has been detected for a minimum of 4 seconds
J means a fault has been noted on the fuel gauge. It must have disconnected for longer than 100 seconds. The resistance from the fuel...
Like it but always preferred the gear insert a dark colour, also wouldn't have done the steering diamond... But its a nice colour.
The air bag and gear insert decals stuck on in the right places with a few more layers of lacquer would make it look better.
Have you done the test where you undo each plug put the plug in each coil one at a time and hold it to an earth point to test to see each plug and coil is sparking correctly? (double check a guide on google or something i might not have the testing order correct)
Even though you havent the...
