PFR6E-10 plugs, that group buy linked above or ebay.
Wait till the engine is stone cold and personally after buying one I'd say use a torque wrench, others will say just hand tight then a quarter of a turn or something (even says the degree of turn on the plug box).
Might do, but its got a join in the middle which might restrict the air flow slightly? or wouldnt it make any real difference? and lack of oil return pipe.
Still the job thats been done looks very good no doubt!
As far as I know yeah.
The auto leveling and lack of xenon jet washers might be an issue come MOT time but again I'm not 100% because I never bothered with xenons on my non sport.
Best to do a search and confirm for yourself, a fair few threads about it.
Need to change mine soon, Rear end feels like its shaking its ass when turning tight corners.
Whats the procedure? old ones out, swap over the rubber bits in the same order and bolt back up?
Not that you'd want to be keeping your friend sweet after doing that, but its really no major work to unbolt the smashed stuff and fix the new stuff on.
Id give it a go !
Try and adjust the handbrake, If you search and look through some old threads Fred had said the best way for adjusting the handbrake.
I just removed the heatshield, took the handbrake off and wound the bolt tight 4 turns, handbrake is much better now, but seeing as the platform sat wonky im...
If they where leaking that badly you need new washer jets (£13 each), the one way valves are to stop the excess water in the hoses dribbling out but if they where leaking I would get new ones.
I think it is best to place them closest to the actual jet, but where he's placed them will probably be ok, The valves just create resistance so the water bottle cant just leak its way out of a weak jet.
I would cut a slot in the head if it was sticking out enough, then heat it up a few times being careful of the brake line (not sure weather that would be safe though tbh) and on the last heat get a large flat object in the slot, try and smack it loose and then twist out.
I might get one of...
That looks exactly like the ones i used, and i wont guarentee it but i would say thats the right size, the hoze diamater is pretty much 5mm and rubber flexible.
Was about 7 months ago, but I would say most of there main stores should stock some, if not there online like the ones you linked.
If you find my project thread theres a picture showing which way round they should go for the flow.
It probably spells out "stop listening to your engine, engines make noises" haha
Just wondered if it was anything normal or else, any ideas anyone?
Ive had the belts, tensioners and dephaser changed mate.
Feels like its much better, just been for a drive, took me about half an hour to do the job, quite simple.
I think maybe if i'd have had someone put the clutch down then i greased the other side of the fork it might have been better, sounds like thats possibly what you do in the guide above...
Bare with me...
Just gave the clutch cable some grease, feels better now. Always have a quick listen to the engine ticking over (not that i really know what to listen for :o)
And in the background it really does sound like beeping morse code, faint but audible over the engine.
Does anyone...
