No they wont work. You need to find a PDR technician (paintless dent removal) who will use tools to massage the dent out from the inside of the panel.

Mines broken as well, as far as i can remeber when i shon a torch inside the case the bracket bolted onto the ECU cover... If somehow someone could machine out some thicker brackets could be an earner in that? I might be wrong if its all one part, but not sure. This is the fix
