The billabong interior is that shitty green one that stains... i wouldnt buy one but there you go lol. Heres pics of the problems i had with mine, 90% of the people i spoke to with billabongs also have the same problem.

^ as above not really worth the effort, ring round for a few quotes, after all the bloody metal polish/sandpaper you have to use its prob just as expensive!
have sent pm about payment btw :)
i'd have one over the 197 any day of the week. The 197 barely looks any different to the normal clios, the vx might be tacky but at least you know what it is. Interior is loads better as well, recaros as standard, and with a turbo willbe much more fun to drive id imagine. Also in my girlfriends...
i did my own sidestrips, really wasnt easy though, as i said to kully you ideally need highbuild primer to get it smooth, or you'll be sanding them for days like i was to get the smooth. Dont know if you can see on these pics but i smoothed the badges into the strip.
nah 16v badges, i dont do sidestrips as they're too much of an arse and an expense using high build primer, esepecially when a bodyshop will charge you 80 quid which is pretty much what i'd want for materials alone
who cares about the extra 1-2bhp when the yozzasport system sounds sooo nice. if i had the money again i'd definetely buy another one without any question.
having had plenty of exhausts i would avoid powerflow unless you want a stealth system as thats all they're good at in my opinion.
well thats the problem. due to plans to shove a load of speedhumps in my road i cant lower it too much. especially when you consider the humps just up the road i could barely get my old car over them lol
will wait for the views of a couple of people and then get my order placed next week :)
full metal bracket with the rubber already in it. holdcrofts renault robbed me of £21 for mine tuther week. there was a set on ebay last week with 2 on it :(
theres only 1 stoddie is there not? Would be interested to get a write up on the bilsteins mate, so if you could pm me or whatever would be great :)
edde :- i dunno, any reason why you would go for the h&rs over the kw's? as i know i can get a bigger discount on the kws than the h and rs
stoddie? will have a search to see if he has any pics.
have to admit i'm toying towards KW, so will probably just order them and leave it at that :approve:
when your driving i think they should. if he would have wacked you at least you would have got your bonnet sorted ;)
could have been alot worse though, so thank your lucky stars you werent involved.
what car were you in? i assume a 182 then?
peperami - dont know how effectivethe adjustment is on the fks, i just thought for the same price i may as well go for a decent set up as standard. If i did go for fks i'd get the cheaper version, and the spunk the cash on something else lol
steve...
yeah i have but i had em on my 1.2, and thought they might be a bit 'firm' on the 172. however still have the option of FK's and using the change to get some pimp brakes/money towards seats.
I was looking at the v1s as they're only for road use. Dont want to take it silly low so not that bothered about it looking slammed
for the v1s the price i've got is 585 delievered so a lot less than the other two
i know the general concensus is for H&R's but i always like to look outside of the box. i want coilovers, no adjustability required - only height, and have a budget of circa £700.
really tempted by the KW's especially as they have camber correction which will save me another £40 or so...
you obviously learnt a lot from that set of silver to red flip dash inserts i did you many years ago :rasp:!
looks good, i'm gonna be out of buisness ;)
no probs mate! will look awesome when done next to the wheels. badges should still hopefully be ready on thursday (weather permitting) unless i have anymore problems when i try to blue them again.
lol dont even start me on your bits! had serious problems today. Tried to repray over the white in racing blue and it reacted really badly and all cracked out. So sanded it down, and tried again and it did the same thing! bloody b**ch b****cks. So i reprimed it, and so far the primers not...
