i found that 'trim gel' off carwashnwax works really well on the black plastics. not sure on recommending products for others, but ive been really happy with p21s so would recommend that as a wax. was also happy with vanilla moose hand glaze.
yeah but if your awkward like me you may be bringing a polished one with you to be done.
seeing as its gods day of rest and all that i shall assume you'll get back to me during the week when your re-open on my email ;)
depends on how you have arranged it. mine is just pushed together, so i dont feel its a big issue. however if you really start to play with them and manipulate the characters with dots etc. your asking for trouble. my old car passed its MOT with the same numberplate so cant be too bad.
i have a mk1 172 so the proper induction kit ;) have fitted a K&N panel filter and noticed a definete improved driveabilty. so will be doing the rest of your list and sticking with the airbox, as the only improvement would be a maxogen. but at 10x the cost of a panel filter it aint worth it for me.
mine is all pushed together so it reads M15DDO in the middle of the plate. never been pulled specifically because of the plate. but when i did last get tugged it was mentioned to me it should be changed.
colour coding the mouldings for the time being, then depending how good he is he may be having it for some other bits.
oh, and i thought the mats were good quality (i.e. thickness of fabric) but they really didnt wear well.
interesting that you've gone for just matz. i'm looking for some new ones but thought the ones i had in the last group buy were a bit poor for the cost.
glad to see its resprayed and back on the road. will be calling them next week for a quote on mine :)
eddes the extremely good looking man, beaming straight at the camera ;)
has - if you say the paints alright, must be ok lol
wilky - lol never noticed till you said!
cheers mate, you know how picky i am with my paintwork, would hate there to be anything wrong with it and having to send it back for the third time! Will defo give the vents a closer look though
nah i appreciate you pointing it out, What do you mean by flat? as in dull? if anything i was quite impressed with the quality of the paintwork (if nothing else). In real life the bumper is exaclty the same quality as the bonnet and wing in the pics, may just be dirty?
paints not flat at all may just be the piccys. If the bumper was flat the bonnet and wings would be flat also as they were done at the same time lol. See what you mean about the vents now mate, will have a closer look. Already sent it back once as i wasnt happy! Have a look at the paint on this...
