Anyone got any advice for me? im going to get the wheel off, check every things tight and use a pry bar like ive seen in a video to see if i can find a click in the outer track rod soon.
Saying 40mm i would guess apex as well?
Apex are known for a crashy ride, Im not sure what springs are available for your car but Eibach are much better springs.
After viewing the video in post 12, im thinking drive shaft ? :dead: bloody hell :(

If i get my wheel at the right point and wiggle it it sounds the same but less clicky, rough price for a new...
Yeah, your right about the dog bone, im just over thinking things,
I changed the springs, ive changed springs over before on other cars, everything was right and ive just been outside and the top mounts are tight.
I will have a check tomorrow and get someone to see if the top mounts are moving...
I was thinking this, but everything looked fine when changing the springs over, im wondering if the wheel alignment was slightly out before lowering, and then really out after lowering, combined with the stiff dog bone mount causing whatever it is to clunk... ill have to go through the motions...
Taken it for a drive, trying to figure out what it is, i can feel the clunk through the pedals, its mainly when im turning i.e reversing out of a bay etc, over bumps...
Any advice on what ive given please? tomorrow, im changing the dog bone back to the old one because after i changed it i...
Could be mate, tbh im not a mechanic im just passing on what i know, someone else might be able to help but hopefully your cats fine.
If your working treat yourself to a new exhaust, hangers and OEM fitting kit i guess!
Going to be doing the same after xmas will probably be getting an RS192...
Have you taken it to an exhaust place first ? mines blowing too... i edited that out now because im not sure where mine is blowing from,
But a new gasket and fitting kit is the cheapest thing to try first. unless youve got white smoke coming out of the exhaust your cat is probably fine and...
I would guess a sports cat, or a replacement second hand cat off a low mileage clio
I would think you just need a new genuine cat joining kit, thats the first thing to try there about £25 from Renault, and Renault are the only place to get them from ive read a few times, not aftermarket.
After some reading im thinking possibly inner tie rod? or steering rack mounts?... and im wondering because the new dog bone is so tight, and i haven't adjusted any other mounts, if i revert back the nocking might go because nothing is under strain... i don't want to adjust my other mounts to...
I've developed a new problem with the 182... since ive had the car its been fine but since having it I noticed a very slight sound when moving off, whatever it is has developed into a clunk when turning corners or over bumps and is increasing now..
I've just jacked the car up and tried the top...
the saying is pros for go and sports for show.
Pros are good for handling
Sportlines are very popular though because they give a small drop and handle well too.
Cheers mate, didn't know that, i haven't touched my 182 apart from SRP, My plan is before jan to lime prime via machine then 476 on top as a tempory measure. (i did find LP very oily yeah!)
I only do SRP when im really lazy.
It needs a correction polish but im saving that till summer.
And i...
I use 476 because im lazy and i like colli's durability, id rather spend more on polishing and paint preparation products.
i.e. good clay, SRP for when im lazy, dodo lime prime, black hole... the list goes on
I was looking at the toyo sport 182 exhaust, but also asked and was told about someone's de cat not fitting (Id guess it was Tom's reading in here now), be good to see the results, if it doesn't take pics, file a dispute and get a refund...
Not that ive paid much attention to the door mechanism before, apart from changing a clicking door strap on my 1.2... i see now (after i thought the door was going to fall off) there are two hinges with bolts and a clip going through.
The top hinge the bolt goes in from underneath? makes sense...
