really depends on the profile thats used. the other consideration is that you will probably want to go with a more sophisticated remap. so say something like the omex 600, and thats not a cheap mod to do.

you dont pay the tax for a 1.2, you pay the tax for a 2.0 as your car has to be re-registered as a 2.0. if you stick a lump in and tell your insurance company without telling the dvla then you will be liable for having no road tax. so not worth the risk imo
