After you've sprayed on the primer and let it dry, you can use fine sandpaper... i.e. grit 2500, 2000 (can be got anywhere... online... etc) with water and lightly smooth the primer to a very flat surface... (wet flatting)
This means your paint will layer on top smooth and give a good finish...

Wire/wool brush excess dirt/rust off... spray some break/clutch cleaner on the calliper if you've got any, wouldn't worry it not...
Follow instructions with your kit and your away... leave for a bit to dry... might also help to warm brakes very slightly to aid drying time... or use a hair dryer...
Im thinking of getting a 197 do not know much about them going to have a look on the 197 forum...
The only thing im worried about is petrol consumption... doing calculations going from my clio... getting about 40mpg ...
The 197 gets about 25-30mpg right? I know for sure the petrol consumption...
I hit a pot hole and it killed the clutch...
Had people tell me the release bearing could be knocked out...
Just had a new clutch and bearing fitted... and was fine again...
Mechanic said the clutch was fairly worn and although unusual... the pot hole had just finished if off...
I get system repair or start normally... system repair does nothing... start normally hangs at the windows logo....
Both x32 and x64 restore disks load then go to a black screen..
Hard drive is showing data as "parameter is incorrect" and the recovery side is just a few recovery files...
Last post before i give up i think, there was no recovery of the drive just wouldnt work...
Im getting "F:\ is not accessible. The parameter is incorrect." Im using CHKDSK /F now...
I dont think its going to work... its going to ask me to format it, is there any other programs i can use to...

Tried both x64 and x32 disks...
When i tried to use the drive as a slave (its a 500gb) there was one partition that wasn't showing up... wouldn't recognise... and "data" 250gb with just a recovery file in there... nothing click able... but would there be a 250gb partition just...
Ive got both disks now... just burning... ill try a 32bit... it loaded files, went to the green sliding (loading) bar and then its hanging again at a black screen...
Might have to give up and install a a fresh copy but dont really want too...
Okay, just trying the disk...it loaded the files and its hanging at a blank screen now... could be a fun night ahead...
Ok where it hung in start mode must have been a coincidence don't think its anything to do with the graphics for sure

Cheers for the help mate, im trying to get it into safe mode as they say it was definatly working before... its hanging at safe mode with network... just trying normal safe mode to see if that makes any difference...
Its hanging at \drivers\atipcie.sys again i dont know if that means...
I am repairing a friends laptop that the owner decided to go through the boot menu and delete things that theythought would speed it up, resulting in the computer not booting...
The recovery partition shows on the hard drive but the other partition i would think the data is in is not showing...

Routed through the odds and ends draws, found some 3m velcro discs... took the soft ones out and wrapped 2 each side, dramatic improvement..
Would taking the ARB bush out make the wishbone drop a bit?
What can i lever the wishbone down against?
Feel very noobish, would probably have a better mindset about it if i had it all infront of me, but cant be fucked to go out in the cold

Thats what i said to do but when we unbolted the bolts the boot started touching if not getting slightly crushed against the wishbone i think... just wanted backup that its a unbolt and swap over thing...
