Hindsight indeed is wonderful and a b**ch :P if I had realised that this would mean I wouldn't have no claims then I would've just got the extra miles. But with it being my first ever year insurance I didn't realise. Rookie error I know and I feel it is about to bite me in the ass very hard.
I...
Renewed my car insurance a few weeks ago. Paid £950 for comprehensive cover with Diamond.
This was after being insured with insurethebox. I was with them for 11 months and a week before I ended my policy due to it being a limited mileage policy and I was about to go on a week long placement that...
Any more help would really be great as I'm running out of time. Does anyone know where I should take it for this to be sorted out and/or a rough estimate on the cost?
I know but I was told all I had to do was clip all the wires together with that connector thing, sounded like a 5 minute job! My previous seats did have airbags in if that helps at all.
Thanks for the reply
Ok thanks, here's the pics:
Driver's side from car:
Consists of 1 lone orange wire, 2 lone grey/black wires, 2 sets of orange and lilac wires wrapped around each other (I assume they're wrapped around each other for a reason) and one set of orange and white/lilac striped wires wrapped around...
Mine only has colour coded side strips and spoiler so far. I saw a cc'd odyssey at uni today, looked really good from the front. If I see it again I'll take a picture for you :)
I recently put 172 seats into my non-sport and I now want to connect everything up so the airbags work etc. (also because my MOT is tomorrow and need the airbag light to go off, I have a new ECU waiting to go in)
I looked under the driver's seat to find this:
My mum's boyfriend told me to use...
Good, colour coding is always a winner, I see the rear bumper has already been done. The tinted ones are the better of the two in my opinion but they're generally not taken kindly to on this website. But it's your car, you don't have to try to please everyone on here, so long as you're happy...
Welcome to cliosport! Back luck about being crashed into almost straight away. Please don't fit either of those rear lights from the comparison photo, they will get you labelled as a chav. I believe the alloys you have are oz f1s from a ph1 172 although I may be wrong, I'm sure someone will...
Got around to fitting the new spoiler today. Pics:
Before
After
Just want a 172 rear bumper to finish off the back end now.
Next on the to do list is fitting 15mm spacers all around but I want extended locking bolts before I do that.
It's non cup spoiler so just the same as the dynamique one that's already fitted but smooth and colour coded. Thanks for the advice, will give that a try now.
Currently trying to fit a colour coded 172 spoiler to my non-sport. I have the old one off but can't get the washer jet tube out, nor can I find where I can connect the new one. I tried just yanking it but it won't budge. I've had a look under part of the roof lining and still can't see where or...
Just do the lettering on the bullets white and the diamonds. If I had a 1*2 I'd remove the renaultsport badge so wouldn't suggest doing that in white, unless it's the 192 style badge. In which case you should do that in white :)
Thanks a lot :) I wasn't expecting much love for the wrapping but just got a bit bored of the interior. Sorry to keep you waiting lol
Yeah everything I could've wanted was in there, thanks again Chip! :)
Yeah saved me a bit on spraying costs :) ah that sucks, not the end of the world though, especially since I didn't put mine on straight :P
On the hunt for a 172 steering wheel now to finish off the interior but funds are a bit tight :( probably won't have any updates now (except when I fit the...
Thanks :) no it's Odyssey blue but the spoiler is from a ph1 172 which were odyssey so all is good.
Just noticed that the 2 is coming off on the gear insert. Must've done that today, it's my own fault for being impatient and putting it in before using clear lacquer on it. Will get another one...
