Looked pretty standard apart from clearly being lowered a fair bit. Think I saw a cs sticker in the back driver's side window but didn't see the numberplate.
I was going in the opposite direction by Debenhams
I know how to get the lights to turn off, that's all in hand. I'll just have to find out what I need to do to get this seatbelt working again. I assume it's simply a case of replacing the seatbelt and pretensioner if it is a pretensioner one?
Ok, will put this near the top of my list of things to do then. I intend to replace the seatbelt. I assume the light is the combination of service&airbag lights? Since they're the only ones that came up, although that was most likely due to the passenger seat airbag going off during the same...
Thanks for the quick replies. No-one was in that seat at the time no, it was just me driving with no passengers. I may have to try to get at the seatbelt tomorrow and have a look at what I can do with it
Since a collision with a curb in March, the back nearside seatbelt has been jammed. Firstly I'd like to know if it will fail an MOT because of this as it is due next month. I will be attempting to fix it either way but just want to know how urgently this needs to be done.
Secondly, from an ebay...
Thanks :)
Yeah it was fine, got the tyre sorted the next day and all is well now.
Just done all the badges in white to match the wheels and will be sorting the bullets after christmas. After that there probably won't be much progress for a while because of insurance, tax, service and MOT all...
Merry Christmas for tomorrow everyone!
Little update, got a decent picture courtesy of theycallmepaul from the December meet in Manchester a few weeks ago.
Just shows the result of spraying the top grill satin black and refurbing the headlights. The marks around the headlights are just bits of...
Bugger, I'd already started spraying the badges when I posted this. I was initially reluctant to spray anything white as I thought it might be a bit overkill, but I do like to have some sort of colour theme going so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll go for colour coded bullets with white...
You've certainly got the right idea with coilovers, rs grill, 172 rear, colour coding etc.
However I don't really like the wheels sorry, they look a bit dated to me. Maybe a refurb to get them looking a bit newer? Just a thought.
Also I really like the steering wheel, if you take the porsche...
Recently put white wheels on my car so I'm doing all the badges in white, but I'm not sure whether to keep the bullets the same colour as the car, but with white lettering, or do they bullets black with white lettering, or white with black/blue lettering. Just after some quick opinions, cheers...
I actually quite like this. I don't think the red works on a black car though personally; would be pretty cool if you did it in the same colour as you've done the front diamond.
I think that looks great now! Ride height looks perfect, I like the black bits you've done. Not a huge fan of the wheels, not sure why really. Get yourself some silvervisions as stated earlier (they're just chrome indicator bulbs to get rid of the orange) and it'll look perfect! Any more news on...
Thanks for the feedback. Does anyone know if ph1's had cc'd door handles? Because they only did ph1 sports in odyssey blue, replaced by monaco for ph2s. Thanks
I've decided to keep the centre caps off; I think it would have been a bit much to have a huge, solid block of white if the centre caps were on. Planning on getting polarised bolts to freshen up the look of the centres though
Ah right ok. Not at the moment no, I will get a better one up tomorrow, just had a crack at refurbishing the headlights and the grill is off being sprayed, so it's not in its most photogenic state at the moment :o
Thanks chip but you're a bit late with that picture. That was just a photoshop from when the wheels were still gold. Yeah it was a shame about the colour but an £80 refurb sorted that out. They've been done in white now and coilovers are on but they aren't as low as that photoshop. Ideally I'd...
I guess so, if I can find a set cheap enough I might get the interior and sell the standard interior in individual bits, i'll probably get close to my money back. I'll probably be keeping the car until it dies anyway so might aswel.
Not really sure what the right section would be to answer this.
Just wondering if there's any difference between sport and non-sport door handles on a mk2? I want to colour code mine but if sport ones are smooth then I'd buy and spray a set of them to save on sanding down the grainy effect.
Welcome to ClioSport! Your plans sound good, will be really interesting to see you fit a tablet into the dash; I've never seen that done before. I'd recommend you add silvervision indicator bulbs and clear/smoked side repeaters to your shopping list as they're only cheap. Apart form that I think...
Keep an eye out on the for sale section on here, or post in the wanted section. You might just have to be patient and a bit lucky, or you could try ebay or gumtree but I wouldn't trust those people as much as people on here. Good luck finding some :)
