That mpg figure does seem a bit low. On a decent run I've manage 53mpg in my 1.2 16v. I'm pretty sure I've seen people get into the high 70s in dci's. Are those mostly motorway miles or town driving?

White does look good, but it's an absolute b**ch to try to keep white wheels clean. Unless you have time to wash it every week at least then it'd probably spend more time looking good in black, because white will just be dirty all the time.

new alloys look awesome! You should still follow everyone's advice of colour coding etc. I'd also make a cutout for the exhaust in the bumper to make it look a bit neater. But overall, great work!
