You won't find many people here that will like what you've done unfortunately. Not personally a fan of those alloys. I'm undecided about the fly eyes as I haven't seen them before, think they look alright. I would definitely suggest colour coding, ph2 rear lights. Most people would suggest dual...
Plans sound good minus the bonnet bra. However those lowering springs you linked are for a mk1 clio, they will be a front set only, check out the torsion bar statement. I very nearly made that mistake
I'm after some Odyssey Blue spray paint (paint code D44) to colour code my side strips, is there anywhere that sells it cheaper than halfords custom paint mix? Thanks
Almost certainly the best car on this site. But why have you not got silvervision indicator bulbs?! The amount of money you must have spent here, can't you find £8 to get chrome indicator bulbs front and back? Would then be perfection.
Since putting 172 alloys on my 1.2 dynamique the back left wheel has started scrubbing the plasticy bit on the inside of the wheel arch. I was expecting this so I fitted some 5mm spacers but it hasn't worked. Probably because the new wheels are 10mm wider than the originals and I've only put on...
Thank you both! I will be going with rover stone grey as from a quick google search it seems quite a few people have used it as a replacement for anthracite, cheers
Want to spray my badges anthracite tomorrow, only place nearby is halfords so wondering which of their colours is closest to anthracite if anyone knows?
Ah ok then :) that makes sense because they do look really well done.
I really want coilovers but I'm just so skint, I car barely afford a tenner for sanding paper and paint for the badges tomorrow :( thanks for all your advice and help :)
Ok, what do you mean flat them down? I was thinking of changing the theme to anthracite actually. I think I would've carried on with black if i kept the black alloys but because of my rubbish spraying they looked a bit gash, plus I've always like the 172 alloys. PS your car looks great now it's...
Re: MY CLIO 1.6 PROJECT
Looks great now with the coilovers! Not a huge fan of the rear lights but at least they are different! Almost everyone has kept the original rear lights so I think it's one of the best ways to differentiate from everyone else! As long as you like the look of them that's...
Took your advice and put the blue diamonds back on Danman.
Fitted stubby aerial today too, will get pics up tomorrow.
With spraying the diamonds do you need to sand them down? I just have a black cover over the front one of mine, didn't actually spray it, but planning on spraying them all tomorrow.
Love the attention to detail, you've gone further than any other i've seen on colour scheming and it looks great. I respect that you're doing something different because you see so many that look identical on here (probably mine included at the moment) but I'm really not a fan of the alloys. I...
Looking for opinions on the centre diamond colour on the alloys, i previously had them odyssey blue (same as the car) as i'm not really a big fan of chrome. I put 1 chrome on and 1 blue on. Which looks better do we think? Thanks
Thanks a lot mate! That's really helpful I'll be looking to do the colour coding and badges soon :) Do you happen to know how to get the door handles off for colour coding or is that a bit of a job? I have very limited knowledge and i'm not exactly a handyman but I would like to learn how to do...
Oh and a few questions concerning my future plans. I was going to colour code the side strips myself so was wondering what to use when sanding down? I'm going to sound thick as sh*t here but my knowledge of the real world is very limited, can i just use like normal sandpaper or what is it i need...
Hi, re-doing my progress thread as i messed up the title of the last one. So this is my 1.2 16v dynamique when I first got it home back in February.
My plans were originally to just add a few little touches as I didn't want to have a car that was identical to thousands of others but due to...
Re: Project Benga 16v 1.2 MK2
Car's looking great, colour code and lowered and you're done! Out of interest, how much has all this cost? How does a 16 year old have all this money? I had like £10 a week when I was 16 lol
I tried pushing down hard and twisting very hard, one of the knob bits is in place, behind the hook sort of thing, locked in place, the other isn't so when i twist there's no space for the non trapped one to move in to in order for the trapped one to be freed, no idea how i managed to get it in...
Just got a new set of rear lights and managed to get the indicator bulb stuck in the reversing light holder. Does anyone know a way to get it out? Preferably without damaging the bulb but not essential. Thanks
Chrome indicator bulb in reversing light holder, put in old indicator bulb so that it...
UPDATE: Finally had a bit of spare cash so bought some bits. RS Grille now bought and fitted thanks to a bargain off Carbonraider, thanks a lot for that. Also got a set of FK automotive LED taillights.

However, I managed to get the indicator bulb stuck in the reversing...
Been looking around at information on the ECU, am I able to put a new one in without having to pay Renault to code it to my car? Would it be easier to just get the crash data removed from my ECU and put it back in or would this require the same process as putting in a fresh one? Do I need to...
Replacing my front passenger seat after the airbag deployed after i lost a fight with a kerb. Is it easy to do? do i have to remove anything other than the seat (like the airbag ECU, will it just set the airbag off in the new seat?) Do I have to reconnect anything to get the airbag functioning...
