Breaking cover......*AG content from page 45*

Holy Moses that's an amazing figure Mark. Really brilliant, makes me want to stay N/A with numbers that high and a rev limit like that. Thumbs up on a stunning build. Congratulations on the little un too, I missed that until now.

Safety devices full cage with roof cross and roof vent?

Ah yes perfect, thanks Mark. I'm going to call up MF next week to get the measurements for the cross but it does look like there's plenty of room for that tiny pod.

    The £600 Cup Track Build

What does the DEF say when you click on DF014? Got a print screen?

    The £600 Cup Track Build

I don't think this is going to help much as it doesn't have df014 in but none the less

Go into all the modules and clear all the faults. I think for the connection unit (uch, clocks) you need to switch off the ignition to clear the faults.

    The £600 Cup Track Build

Will be something like this but of course for the immob. Those little grey circles will have red or amber. Red is current and amber is historical and logged fault. Second screen print is what it looks like when you click on the X.DEF button

    The £600 Cup Track Build

I don't think those are the faults matey, those are the detectable faults which is everything that CLIP can find wrong with the system. When you click on faults test it will come up with a list and either a red or Amber lamp next to the fault and it'll have something like 1 DEF, 2 DEF. If you...

    Steering rack change

You'll be best dropping the subframe so may as well do inner anti roll bar bushes whilst you're at it. They're 25mm and awful to do at any other time. I'd probably leave everything else unless it's causing your greif, it can all be changed another time if needed. I find it best to unbolt the...

    carbon canister

Yes it is. If it's been removed or not plugged in then you will get a light. If removing I normally just leave the purge valve plugged in.

    The £600 Cup Track Build

Solid red immob light can be a few things. Usually the relay in the main engine fusebox though or the gearbox earth. Try those first. Failing that check for continuity and voltage drop in all the cables going from the ecu to the uch. Clip will only be able to tell you a couple of things, that...

Thanks Tim. Fantastic, really hope the interest is there as would be a brilliant little event in the summer.

    Rolling road day in summer?

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a rolling road day on a summer, July or August time at the weekend with SRR or somewhere similar. I can never make the earlier one in the year because my car is off the road for winter. Sure there would be a few people in this situation...

Safety devices full cage with roof cross and roof vent?

@Russ Rallye Yep, the seam that runs across the support at the front of the roof. Hoping the dash dodger they put together will offer the same roof bar fitments. Happy to take the risk and get the drill out now I think.

    172 Cup track toy build

Yeah we had that problem with @Martin. 's rack when it was first looped. Could turn it a bit then the pressure stopped it and when it then dropped you could move it more. Felt notchy.

    172 Cup track toy build

That's very strange Mark. Of course the assistance is at a set level and doesn't change with speed. I found that I like it'd about 25% on although I haven't driven my car for ages so can't exactly remember. I have a problem with mine at the moment where the steering is incredibly light in the...

Safety devices full cage with roof cross and roof vent?

I'm looking at getting a full safety devices cage with cross in the roof and am wondering if anyone has this cage and if so is there room for a cup racer roof vent in the top. Ideally I want to get the vent in before track days in the summer but won't get the cage until some time after that so...

    Renewing Whittling ARB Bushes

Yeah those bits can be changed as they're universal bushes. I don't remember the exact manufacturer as I looked this up a few years ago but think it was superpro or superflex. Inboard bushes are D bushes outboard are shock bushes http://www.superpro.com.au/tradeview/index.php?view=universalparts

Swapping 182 ecu kit into 172 cup and visa versa

Want to put my cams from my 182 in my 172 cup track car for obvious reasons but really don't want to have the car remapped once it's all done. I've got access to clip to reconfigure things but is this a reconfiguration which is actually possible. I plan to put the 182 ecu kit into the 172 and...

WHAT "TRACKDAY" MODIFICATION TO CARRY OUT ON A TIGHT BUDGET???

Mine Tony? On the 182 I used at brands it was about 10k after a full refresh. Eibach springs, the more adjustable whiteline arb and p zeros all round.

WHAT "TRACKDAY" MODIFICATION TO CARRY OUT ON A TIGHT BUDGET???

I don't mean that, I completely support tuition and do it myself. I mean that if tuition is £30 a go it would take you over 15 track days to use £500 so I don't think it's good advice to only tuition as a good way to allocate this money. I've got AP coilovers which aren't track orientated at...

WHAT "TRACKDAY" MODIFICATION TO CARRY OUT ON A TIGHT BUDGET???

I think solely spending the money on tuition whilst a nice idea would take a huge number of track days to actually complete that much! Book with open track and it's free anyway. Depending on how mental you are going one of the best modifications you can do it take weight out of the car, acoustic...
