Fred, Would putting a blowtorch on the screws make them easier to get out?

I tried getting my screws off the other week before i took the calliper off, Gave up because they wouldnt budge. Will have another go when its warmer lol! Im thinking of dremeling a slot in the head next time and using a flat head screwdriver to get them out.

Its a cover with foam inside to keep a plug dry from water etc. Might be ECU, Not sure. Yeah i will bend the metal clips slightly and give it some duct tape to make it secure. I cant see how it could make the car perform erraticly?

Just opened my bonnet to fill up my windscreen wash, Saw this cover propped up where it should be, And not seated down. It was just above the engine, I can see it slots back on, But its loose... Is there a screw that secures it, Or is it a clip on job? Pic: Cheers.

I think its something to do with the brake fluid level, Might be getting that mixed up with another dashboard light though. Someone will correct me.

I would say some sort of heat to soften up the vinyl, Pick it off. Some AG tar remover to get any sticky residue left over off, If there is any.

Yeah, It does look bad lol. Now if you cant get it off you will have faded white text and that will look poo lol.
