Spacers don't give you the differing caster, camber when turning in, benefits of stiffened but oem damping, bigger brakes yatta yatta, the list goes on ;) They do give you shortened wheel bearing life though :P Of course I am envious of the power though.
£1 mats were a nice little bargain. We'll have to wait and see when I pick them up.
I haven't Chris no. Think Alex has but I'm not sure how. Maybe in his thread.
Mine doesn't get that bad though, I clean it every 10k and it's never terrible. Maybe where you injectors weren't coded there was a...
Fairly sure they are interchangeable you just have to wind the threads out a little more.
My old 182 cup had inner rods from ECP.
My current car has standard DCI inner rods on 172 running gear which is wider than the standard DCI kit.
I got mine tight enough with a hammer and screwdriver in the end. I gave up trying to get the arrow to line up when the meaty lug snapped.
If I had the 100bhp I wouldn't have been able to go wide track ;) Alex and I both know we should have bought the 80 to start with. If I hadn't had the...
There's a lad on here with a full leather interior. It's a non sport and was like it before he bought it. Can't remember his username. Potentially a 206 set
Sorry, could have given my insurance knowledge a go.
If it's been done recently, HPI takes quite a while to update. MIAFTR is instant though so you'll need to get that checked to make sure it's not had the marker (likely cat C) put on and the selling is taking advantage of the HPI delay. That's...
I did have the tank out and empty!! The ring definitely shrunk with age. Seal was also a nightmare.
Need to see some of these 1.9 conversion finished so get my project mind back in swing.
I didn't go and look no as we didn't have enough space in the garage for another car unfortunately. I was going to just buy it for the engine, pump and injectors.
Sounds like it's got a load of trims from a cup then. The interior is PH1 as it's coloured lettering.
Map does make sense. Not before new injectors and pump though, maybe I know someone who will have a nice low mileage set for sale soon. Hint hint wink wink.
That repair will set you back at least £300 but more like double that for a decent job. Some places would probably replace the 1/4 although a flatline type device would see that good. Just get a replacement door. Fix the 1/4 and blend into the door
@gally is the man to advice I understand
A...
That's the journey I use my cruise on. God send. I'll be fitting the cruise this week on the other DCI for exactly that journey. The m3 is a long long road. 60mph will see you get over 80mpg.get
Great plans. I just picked some RS mats up for £1 on ebay :D
Tough job to get it all done for CS...
I'm tempted to do that with my DCI. I'm getting pretty tired of the pathetic levels of power. I'll let you do the 1.9dci and then maybe follow in a few years ;)
The sender was almost muddy. Hope you can get the black sender ring back on, I must have taken an hour to get mine to thread, must...
Thanks for the help chaps. Washed out the tank for ages and left it to dry in the sun yesterday. Also had to take apart the fuel sender as there was a huge amount of sediment in the bottom. EGR was also caked up
Put it all back together today and she runs!!! Massive cloud of black smoke at...
Good to see you sorted the bumpstops. Must be nice to have suspension back!!
Excited for cruise and CD player. Must do that soon
@-Danman- you can also just replace the whole mechanism which is 3 bolts and takes about 10 minutes
Ohh I always wanted a mk1
I know you were looking at sorting out the shock. Definitely hasn't got a wide track conversion so you should be okay with just a normal DCI shock. Maybe it has slightly drop lowering springs.
Best bet and cheapest Sean is to get a replacement bonnet in the same paint code as above. If that one goes then just wait as it will save you over £100 if you don't have to paint it.
took over 6 months to find one for one of our cars at the right price. Worth the wait though
You say switch, I say climate controlled glovebox.
Coincidence. Fault is probably an earth or one of the fuses gone. Left and right are on separate fuses
switch may be for glovebox light other wise
Today was mainly a Kangoo day. Will be done by tomorrow lunch if everything goes to plan. Injectors here now. Went to Halfrauds today and got a drill attachment with a polishing pad and some megs ultimate compound. Sampled it on the bonnet and the clio headlight. Seemed to turn out pretty good...
